Eliphas' Revenge

Two weeks had passed since Alexandra's encounter with Eliphas. Things on his end had been quiet since then. No one in the Roswell family had heard from or seen him. It made them all worry about what he could be up to. The ones that were the most worried though were Kasdeya, Alexandra, and Teigra. Alexandra and Teigra were worried that Eliphas might somehow find out about Alexandra's adoptive family and go after her parents.

Teigra was at school in science class when her head started to hurt. She put her hands up to hold her head. 'Oh no.' She thought, 'Mom's family. Eliphas has them.'

Teigra raised her hand and waited for the teacher to call on her. She needed to call Alexandra. She needed to warn her.

"Yes Teigra?" The teacher called

"Can I go to the office and call my mom?" Teigra wondered

The teacher looked uncertain, "Can it wait?"

Teigra shook her head, "No, it's an emergency. It's urgent."

"Okay. Then go ahead." The teacher told Teigra

Teigra nodded gratefully and then rushed out of the classroom, but instead of heading to the office she walked into the girls bathroom and shimmered to Alexandra on base in the lab.

Alexandra looked at the girl shocked, "Tei, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be in class."

"I know, but this is important." Teigra said, "It's about your adoptive family. Eliphas has them, Mom."

Alexandra furrowed her eyebrows, "How do you know that?"

"He sent me a message telepathically. He's mocking me." Teigra explained
Alexandra sighed as she ran a hand through her hair, "Oh, this is just great."

"I can help. What should I do?" Teigra offered

"You can help by going back to school." Alexandra informed

Teigra huffed, "Fine, but I don't like it. Eliphas is really dangerous. Please, just be careful, mom."

"I will." Alexandra promised

After Teigra left, Alexandra took a moment to relish in the fact that she'd gotten her first 'mom' from her oldest child. Then she got back to the task at hand and shimmered home to her adoptive parents' house, which she found was trashed and her parents were nowhere to be seen. 'Oh no.' She thought. She was worried, 'what could Eliphas possibly want with my parents?'

Alexandra really wanted to shimmer over to wherever Eliphas was holding her parents, but the more logical part of her knew that it was probably a trap and that going to rescue her parents would be exactly what Eliphas wanted her to do. Instead, she shimmered to the Roswell residence, where she found Zagan and Ammon.

"I need your help, Papa." Alexandra uttered. She looked and sounded very distressed, "Eliphas took my mom and dad."

Ammon ran a hand through his hair, "I was afraid of this, and I'm afraid I have more bad news. Eliphas teamed up with the faction that wants to kill you. Any attempt at rescuing your parents would be like suicide. It's a trap, so we need to be strategic."

Alexandra nodded, "I know." She sighed. She didn't like this at all. 'What if there is a time limit and I'm too late?' She thought, 'What if Eliphas kills my parents?'

    Meanwhile with Eliphas, he was holding Alexandra's parents: Vance and Gwendolyn Procter in a dark dungeon in the underworld.

"Who are you? What do you want with us?" Vance asked

Eliphas smiled evilly at them, "It's not you that I'm interested in. It's your adopted daughter. I want her to see you die. I want her to know that your death is her fault."
