A week later, Alexandra had retired from the Air Force, but she still worked at the base. She was now a civilian like Dale and Grey. It didn't really affect her work at all though. She was first and foremost a scientist, just like she had told General McCabe.

Meanwhile Dale and Teigra hadn't found the Aevum Iter yet, but they were getting closer. Even if that had discovered that the second tablet was a lot harder to decipher than the first one. And they had thought the first one was hard, but now they have realized that the first was easy as pie compared to the second. Also Teigra had told Noam about Alex being their Aunt Asha.

It was early in the morning when Noam woke his sister to give her the news that he had become aware of telepathically. News that would change everything. Not just for Teigra and Noam, but for Alexandra too.

"TiTi." Noam called "Uncy Roshaun is coming."

Teigra didn't immediately say anything, but she looked worried. Their Uncle Roshaun was a good guy, but sometimes his methods to keep family together were a little extravagant. Maybe this was partially due to his own upbringing in a broken family. His mother - not wanting her children to become targets pleaded with his father to bind his and his sisters demonic powers. However his father didn't want that. After years of fighting over it, his mother divorced his father. Roshaun had only been four years old at the time.

Teigra hugged her brother, "It's gonna be okay, baby. I want you to go find Addison. If you can't find him, go find Dale. If you can't find Dale, then go find Grey. I'm going to go see Auntie Alex."

Teigra shimmered out, but she went to Kasdeya first before going to Alexandra. She needed to talk to her great-grandmother before warning her aunt. After Teigra was gone, Noam left their room and went to find Addison.

Meanwhile at the Roswell residence with Kasdeya and her son Zagan. They are discussing Teigra and Noam and what will happen to them now that their mother is dead, when Teigra shimmers in.

"Gramma! Granddad! I need your help." Teigra uttered as she ignored what her great-grandmother and grandfather had been talking about.

Zagan walked over to his granddaughter, "What is it, my dear?"

"Well it's not just me." Teigra added "Noam told me that Uncle Roshaun is coming to the base soon."

Kasdeya gave a nod, "Understandable. With your mother dead and Alex's identity being discovered as Asha, it's likely that he wants to challenge Alex to a magical dual. Whoever wins gets custody of you and your brother."

Teigra shook her head, "Auntie Alex isn't ready for that. She doesn't know what her powers are or how to use them yet."

"I know. I can train her. Make sure that she's ready when Roshaun comes." Kasdeya replied

"As will I." Zagan added. Asha was his daughter. He had wanted the opportunity to train her to use her powers since the day she was born. And even before that.

Teigra nodded, "I can help too, but right now I need to go warn Alex and tell her about our plan."

"Good luck, T." Zagan told her

Teigra gave a smile, "Thanks Granddad." Then she shimmered out.

Teigra appeared back at the base in Alexandra's lab. She hadn't said anything yet, but she definitely looked worried. Alexandra turned to her niece shocked, but then she looked concerned by the look on the young girl's face.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" Alexandra asked

"You don't have to worry, because we have a plan..." Teigra started

"We?" Alexandra questioned

Teigra nodded, "Me, Gramma, and my Granddad. Your dad." She bit her lip.

"Just tell me what's going on, Tei." Alexandra begged

Teigra took a breath, "My Uncle Roshaun is coming to challenge you to a magical dual. The winner gets me and Noam, but don't worry. Gramma, your dad, and I are going to train you. So you'll be ready."

Alexandra just gave a nod. She didn't know what to say. There was a lot at stake with this magical dual. If she lost, then she'd lose her niece and nephew.

Teigra took Alexandra's hand, "Don't worry. I have faith in you."

"I'm not worried." Alexandra lied as she forced a smile.

"Yeah you are." Teigra spoke as she sensed Alexandra's true feelings. "It's okay. I'd be worried too." She hugged Alexandra, "I'm gonna make sure that you're ready, because I don't want you to lose. I don't want to leave you."

Alexandra hugged Teigra back, "And I don't want to lose you or your brother."

Meanwhile at the Delvaux residence with Roshaun, his wife Charlene, and their kids: ten year old Viola, eight years old Aniela and Altheia, and six year old Shira. The kids were outside in the backyard having a campout in the family tent,

Roshaun was pacing the floor and mumbling to himself. He couldn't believe that his niece and nephew - his sister's kids - had been living on an air force based for the last couple months. He couldn't believe that Imogen and Jonas hadn't taken the kids in. And furthermore, he couldn't believe that Asha Roswell was still alive. He had never liked his brother-in-law Malik or the Roswell family. Mostly, he just didn't like that they were either demons or half-demons. Now he had to battle with Asha, a half-breed demon, for custody of his niece and nephew. Well there was no way that he was going to let her win. There was no way he would let Teigra and Noam be raised by a half-demon. It was only fortunate that Malik had died before his son was born, but Teigra...she had fond memories of her father. That was unfortunate, but not a huge issue. He knew spells that could erase memories.

"Honey, if you don't stop pacing the floor you'll bare a hole it in." Charlene told her husband.

Roshaun just sighed as he sat down in his favorite chair. He was grateful that his kids weren't inside to see him worry. He didn't really want them to know the full extent of the situation with their cousins.

Charlene walked over to her husband, "Honey, I know you are worried, but I'm sure you'll do fine. You're a strong witch. And from what I understand this Asha woman has only just received her powers. She'll be no match for you. For someone who has had their powers for their whole life."

"I know you're right." Roshaun replied "I'm just nervous about going up again a half-demon."

Charlene kissed her husband. Just a quick peck, "Well, don't be. You'll do great. Plus you still have time to practice."
