It's been two weeks since Alexandra was returned without baby Malik. She still hasn't said a word. It's been two weeks since Sarrin and Teigra have been trying to figure out who is after Malik and with no luck. What they don't know is that they are about to have a major breakthrough in the form of Addison.
General Gavin McCabe sent Addison, Dale and Grey on a mission to somewhere using the Aveum Iter. Addison, Dale and Grey had absolutely no idea where they would end up. To their surprise they ended up in the middle of one of the most profound moments in history. The Stonewall riots of 1969.
Trying to maintain a low profile in the clothes they were wearing proved to be rather difficult. One of the rioters even shot Addison in the chest. Two inches away from his heart. Dale and Grey thought Addison was going to die. Hell, Addison thought that he was going to die, but Grey managed to get the bullet out of Addison's chest. After getting the bullet out, Grey grabbed some gauze to put over the bullet wound, but by the time he had the gauze and faced Addison again the wound had pretty much completely disappeared.
Grey raised his eyebrows as he stared at his friend's chest in shock. Dale couldn't help but stare too. The looks that Addison noticed on Dale's and Grey's faces alarmed him.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Addison wondered, "Just put the gauze on."
"Do you feel any pain?" Dale questioned
Addison furrowed his eyebrows as he pondered why Dale would be asking him that. Of course he would feel pain. Grey had just pulled a bullet out of him, but as he actually thought about it he realised that he didn't feel any pain at all.
"So? Do you feel any pain?" Grey repeated Dale's question
Addison shook his head, "No. Why not? Why don't I feel any pain?"
"Oh I don't know. Maybe because the wound is practically completely healed." Dale uttered
Addison felt his chest where Grey had pulled the bullet from just a few minutes ago. Dale was right. The wound was completely healed. He couldn't even feel the bullet wound. Not even a scar to indicate that he had been shot. 'How is that possible?' He wondered, 'How did I heal so fast?'
"Have you always been a fast healer?" Grey asked
"No!" Addison yelled
Dale nodded, "We better get you back to Dr. Salinger."
"But I feel fine." Addison protested
"And I think that would be a problem given that you were just shot ten minutes ago." Grey explained
Addison sighed, "Yeah, you're right." In his head, he thought, 'Why does my life seem to just get stranger and stranger?'
When Addison, Dale, and Grey returned to the Air Force base, Dale and Grey immediately took Addison to the infirmary where Karyn Salinger gave him a complete work up and check up. She gave him a clean bill of health.
"But he was shot. How can he be fine?" Dale inquired
Karyn shook her head and shrugged, "I don't know what to tell you. There is no evidence of that."
"Okay, so I can go?" Addison wondered seeming like he was in a hurry.
Karyn nodded, "Yes, Colonel. You may go."
Addison smiled, "Great." He stood up and rushed out of the infirmary. He had a lot to do. A lot of questions that he needed answered.
Addison didn't know how he was going to get the answers to his questions, but 'healing quickly' that seemed almost magically. He figured the best place to start was with the Roswell family, but first he needed to test it to see if the gunshot wound healing wasn't just a fluke.
