Deep in the cool and dangerous night, the LOV conversed in their dirty old lair. An old bar.
"Toga, I don't trust you to do this job alone." Dabi tiredly said, he'd been fighting with her for almost an hour. Dodging another attack he sighed.
"I can do it! Taking blood from a bunch of brats should be easy!" Toga whined, running up to Dabi with a knife once again.
"You can't even make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You think I trust you to kidnap someone?" Dabi scoffed, kicking her in the stomach.
"Oow! Meanie!" She cried, clutching her gut. "Will you come with me? Twice can come too! Maybe even Compress to take em' in a marble!" She suggested, still in pain.
"This is Todoroki Shoto were talking about, not some chump. We could get riches if we contact his father, ransom of course." Dabi gushed slightly, liking the idea of this.
"He'll never be as good as Deku! It's been ages, I wonder how he's holding up!" Toga foamed at the mouth, rolling her eyes back.
All the villains sighed.
"I think it'll be worth the profit if we don't get caught. All Might doesn't have any children, we could've gotten a better profit from him.." Spinner muttered.
~~That very next day~~
"Training was fun today! I feel a whole lot stronger actually." Kirishima beamed, talking to his classmates. They all walked back to the dorms together.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm tired..English with Mic always hurts my ears. What's with American's language anyways?" Kaminari grumbled. Looking over to Kirishima.
"Hey, anybody else hear that?" Momo asked, stopping in her tracks. A ringing noise was getting louder, an alarm.
"STUDENTS! PLEASE GET TO THE DORMS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. SEVERAL UNIDENTIFIED FIGURES HAVE ENTERED THE AREA." One of the teachers panicked over the intercom.
Class 1-A instinctively backed into a protective circle, every one of them looking around to find a quick passageway to their dorms.
"Oh Deku~" Toga cooed, creeping up on them. The class turned to form a line, all of their quirks igniting. Several other villains appeared from the dark corners in the fences.
"Compress." Dabi instructed. Mr Compress smirked and dashed in the opposite direction. "Toga, do your damn job." Dabi ordered a bit hastily.
With a big smile, Toga started throwing knives in circles. A few students yelped from a knife stabbing their foot, nailing it to the ground.
"Where did Todoroki.." Momo muttered, looking around. Todoroki had been next to her just a moment ago.
Then, Bakugou was gone. A boom.
"GIVE HIM BACK YOU CRAZY BASTARD!" Bakugou yelled, exploding his way to the villain. He seemed to be limping, so at least Bakugou got a few good hits. The rest of the class now started doing their best to fight.
Running off campus, Bakugou came to a road. The villain who he'd been chasing after stood just a little bit away from him. With another explosion he boosted his way over, just as he reached his right palm out.
He was gone. Todoroki had slipped right through his fingertips. Like how he disappeared just a year ago, in the exact same way. How he made all his classmates worry.
Just in that very moment, when Bakugou hit the cold hard ground, he realized..
That he might've loved Todoroki.
