A/N:Hi! This is my first kotlc fan fiction, so please don't judge too harshly. Also, I haven't read Flashback yet, so no spoilers. This is a sokeefe story, so sorry sophitz shippers! No one will probably even read this.Anyways, enjoy!

Sophie woke up to Grady yelling at her.

"Sophie! Get up, and get dressed before he comes in!"

Still sleepy, she only heard, "Sophie... dressed...in!"

Yawning, Sophie sat up in bed and stretched lazily. Last night, Biana, Linh and her had gone out to have a girls night. They went shopping, and then they went shopping, and finally they went shopping. Yep, they had only gone shopping. What surprised Sophie the most was when Biana decided to try on all the dresses in some random shop called Sparkles. At least ten female elves were running around the store to help their customer. Biana had bought all three girls matching pyjamas, and they were sparkly, of course.

Sophie smiled. Her life couldn't be any better. School had just finished, so she had weeks and weeks without homework, Keefe had... kinda gotten over his mom and the Neverseen were gone.

"Yo Foster! Can I come in?"said the one and only person that called her Foster.

"Wait a moment, I'll be out in a second."replied Sophie.

Now fully awake, Sophie could hear Grady arguing with Edaline downstairs.

"Eda, that boy's obviously trouble! Don't you remember all the times he got her into detention? He's a bad influence!"

"Grady, they're young, let them live. Besides, even you can't deny it. He's a good looking young man." Edaline was always on Keefe's side. It was obvious she shipped Sokeefe. As for Grady, every time Sophie mentioned Keefe, he talked about Fitz.

"I have ears you know!"called Keefe. Even though the door was shut, Sophie knew that he was smirking.

Sophie opened her closet. She searched for a random tunic and a pair of leggings, but for some reason, she couldn't find any. The only thing she could find was sparkly dresses of all colours.

She gasped. Last night, Biana had sent her to get snacks after the shopping trip, and when Sophie came back up, Linh and her were closing a bag, giggling.

Now, Sophie was almost certain that the bag had her old clothes in it.

"Biana..." she sighed. Seeing as there was only dresses in her new closet, Sophie picked a dark blue one. It was the darkest thing she could find and hoped it wouldn't attract any unnecessary attention. She already had enough.

She put on the dress and found a pair of matching flats. She didn't want to trip even more than she already.

"Foster, it's been like ten centuries. Hurry up!"said Keefe,

"Why are you here?"asked Sophie.

"Because,"he replied, clarifying the situation. "Now hurry up."

Rolling her eyes, Sophie brushed her teeth and combed her hair. Or at least, she tried to.

"Wow! You're wearing a dress! Congratulations!"said Vertina. "So for your hair-"

Sophie cut her off. "My hair's fine."

Vertina scoffed. "Just listen to me, for once in your life. Go get the pink hair brush, and brush the right part back- I said right, not left! Okay, now..."

Sophie did what the fashion queen told her, and after twice the time it would take a normal person to do their hair, the bird's nest was gone.

"See? You should listen to me more often! Now for your makeup-"

Sophie stepped out of Vertina's sight, silencing the mirror.

"Foosteer! I'm bored. Are you done yet?"

Sophie opened the door. "I'm done."

Keefe stood there practically drooling. The second their eyes met, Sophie realized how long it had been since she had seen him in person. Keefe had been spending most of his time alone, so except for weekly telepathic conversations, Sophie hadn't seen him for two months. Even at school he had been hiding.

Sophie ran up to Keefe and hugged him like she would never let go. It had been so long since she had hugged him, and now it felt good to do it again.

Keefe laughed. "Missed me, Foster?"

Sophie pulled away and slapped him.

"Hey, what was that for?"complained Keefe, rubbing his cheek.

"What happened? One night, we were all celebrating after we defeated the Neverseen, playing truth or dare and spin the bottle," Sophie paused, wincing at spin the bottle. "And then you disappear. I haven't seen you in forever, and then you just show up at my house, unannounced. I even skipped Linguistics with Lady Cadence to look for you!" Her voice softened. "I missed you."

Keefe's smile faded. "I'm sorry, I just needed time to... think."

Sophie finished the sentence.

He needed time to think about his mom.

Sophie understood. I must not be easy losing a parent.

"So why are you here anyway?"asked Sophie, pushing all thoughts about the Neverseen away.

Keefe smirked, his ice blue eyes glinting. "Well, I was talking with Biana and she said that she wanted to do a sleepover. But not just any sleepover." His smirk deepened. "Alden, Della, Grady, and Edaline are going on a weeklong work trip. And Biana suggested that we have a weeklong sleepover. So I told her that I'd convince you. "

"Well, you should go back to convincing school, because your not very convincing.' Sophie folded her arms against her chest.

"I'm not finished yet, Foster. Della and Edaline baked a feast of custard bursts, mallowmelt, riplepuffs, and all the good stuff. So are you coming or not?"

Sophie's mind filled itself with pictures of her favourite desserts.

"Did I mention that there's caramel in the custard bursts?"added Keefe, snickering.

"You win. I'm coming."

"See? From now on Foster, you have to call me Mr.Convincing. Oh, and I'm packing with you,"

Sophie frowned. "I can pack on my own."

Keefe raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure, Miss. I forgot to pack my toothbrush, pyjamas and pillow last time?"

"Fine." Sophie sighed and walked back into her room with Keefe right behind .

It was good to have Keefe back.
