Sophie ran away from Fitz, leaving him there in shock.

She really needed to...Get out of here.

This prison.

She felt like she was going insane. Every time she thought about Keefe, Biana, her parents...

Sophie was also worried about Dex. She hadn't heard anything about him, it was like he had disappeared.

Keefe...

Where was he right now? He had seemed so horrified when Charlotte snapped her fingers, telling him to go with her. Was he okay?

That's a stupid question, she thought, mentally scolding herself. Of course he isn't okay.

If only she could get her abilities back. She could inflict on Charlotte, teleport back to Havenfield, find her parents by tracking their thoughts...

It would fix everything.

Over the past few years, she had never felt so...powerless.

There. She said it.

She couldn't do a single thing to stop or help her friends at all because she didn't have her special abilities.

They could have escaped today. If Fitz wasn't there, her and Keefe could have escaped.

But they would have left her parents. And Fitz.

What if I had left them?

Before she could tell that little voice in her head to shut up, the door opened.

"Sophie about what you said earlier-"

Fitz.

"It doesn't matter. It's just a stupid crush."

"No but-"

"I really need some space right now. I only want to talk with one person right now, and it isn't you."

"Who is it?" Fitz looked angry. "Keefe?"

"Looks like you aren't completely stupid."

With that, she walked out of her little room and to the area where Keefe slept.

Part of her was hoping that she would find him there. But she knew that he wasn't there.

She entered the room, and guess what? He wasn't there.

She sat down on the floor, confused. Before she got here, there was no doubt that she liked Fitz. Maybe Keefe too...

Now when she thought of Fitz, she felt...Disappointed.

She didn't know why she felt that way at all. He was aloud to kiss Linh. It wasn't as if they were in a couple or something.

She groaned, frustrated as she buried her head in her hands.

"Ms. Foster." A strong cold voice spoke.

Surprised, Sophie flinched. She looked up to see a tall man, looking down at her with dark blue eyes. His face was covered with a black mask, leaving nothing but his eyes visible.

"What do you want?"replied Sophie, in the same tone.

"Follow me." He started to walk away expecting Sophie to do what he said. When she didn't move, he turned around.

"Why should I?" She glared at the man defiantly.

His dark eyes glimmered in amusement.

"Do you want him to get punished in your place?"
