Green eyes

As everyone sat down in a circle in Biana's princess-like room, Sophie noticed that Fitz and Linh were both mouthing stuff to each other. It made her heart hurt.

"I'll start,"said a Biana. "This is my room." Her gaze travelled over each player and stopped on Tam. He groaned and muttered, "Betrayal,"

"Tam, truth or dare?"asked Biana.

Tam shrugged. "Truth. I have no secrets."

Keefe smirked. "Well, tell us your biggest secret."

"Hey! It's my turn!"complained Biana. "Tam, tell your crush your biggest secret."

"Ooh, even better!"said Linh. She leaned forwards.

Tam sighed and looked at Fitz. "Your going to kill me."

Fitz frowned. "Why?"

Tam whispered something in Biana's ear, which made her squeal.

"Wait, you like Biana?!"shouted Fitz.

"Umm, yeah," replied Tam reddening a bit.

Sophie was, quite surprisingly, enjoying this. She loved that Biana and Tam were together.

"Sophie, Truth or dare?"said Tam, ignoring Fitz's death glare.

Never mind. Sophie hated truth or dare.

"Uhh...Nothing?"tried Sophie, wincing.

"Okay then Foster, guess we can chose for you. Dare."

"I dare you toooo.... uhhh... do whatever Keefe says."decided Tam.

Keefe pumped his fists in the air. "Yes! Foster, I dare you to tell... Elwin something super embarrassing."

"Ooh! She could tell him that she's pregnant."added Dex. Sophie shot him a 'Who's side are you on' look. He just shrugged.

"Can I at least tell him it was a dare after?"pleaded Sophie.

"NO!"said everyone except Sophie, who just mentally slapped herself for playing this game.

"Okay... but what if he asks questions?"

"Just do it, and we'll help you!"said Fitz.

Sophie sighed and picked up her Imparter. She looked at her friends. "Do I really have to?"

"DO IT!"

"Show me Elwin."she said. Elwin's cheery face appeared on her screen. "Hey Sophie!"

"Hey."

"So, you have an injury? Let me guess. You were wearing high heels and you fell down the stairs."

"Umm... no. I have to tell you something."

"Well, go ahead."

"I'm..."

All of Sophie's friends nodded.

"I'm pregnant."

Elwin choked. "Already? I didn't even know you were dating! Who's your boyfriend?"

All the boys pointed to themselves, except Tam.

"It's Tam."

Tam glared at Sophie and mouthed I'll get you back. Meanwhile, Keefe pouted.

Elwin looked like he was going to faint. "Tam? I thought he was dating Biana!"

Everyone looked at Biana and Tam, who both blushed and looked at each other.

"Um...yeah... Oh sorry, I got to go!" Sophie hung up. "That was awful."

She was the only one not laughing.

"Guys. Guys! GUYS!"shouted Sophie.

No one listened to her.

Rolling her eyes and cursing under her breath, Sophie walked away, unnoticed. She went into the kitchen and opened the fridge.(A/N:Do elves have fridges?) Just as promised, there was a large plate of perfect custard bursts. Grabbing a handful, Sophie walked back upstairs.

It was starting to get dark. It was strange how quickly time passed when you were being embarrassed by your friends, right?

Suddenly, Sophie felt as if someone was watching her. Halfway up the stairs, she turned around. A pair of dark green eyes were staring at her. Even though the room wasn't very dark, Sophie could see nothing but those two eyes. They looked familiar, but she couldn't remember where she saw them. Only the eyes were visible, nothing else.

Sophie blinked, making sure she wasn't dreaming. When she opened her eyes again, they were still there. And they were getting closer... Closer... Closer...

Now they were so close that Sophie could reach out and touch them.

They stopped moving. Sophie's heart was beating so fast that she was sure the entire world could hear it. She felt paralyzed, as if those eyes were hypnotizing her. They were gleaming with hate and amusement at the same time. Sophie knew that look. She saw it every time she was facing the Neverseen. But the Neverseen were defeated... or were they?

Sophie tried to back up, but she couldn't. Her legs wouldn't obey her command, even though she repeated it nonstop. She felt like she couldn't breathe.

"Do you remember me, Sophie?"hissed the voice. It belonged to a female, that was for sure. But other than that... Sophie still had no idea who it was.

The hidden person touched Sophie's face, making pain burst all over it.

"I'm getting my revenge."said the voice.

Suddenly, Sophie could breathe again. She stepped back, but the eyes followed her. The stranger touched her face once more, and Sophie screamed in pain  and sprinted up the stairs to Biana's room, slamming the door behind her and locking it.

"Sophie?" All her friends were looking at her in worry.

Sophie took a deep breath and replayed the moment in her mind, wincing as she remembered when the stranger touched her.

"We heard you scream,"said Linh, eyes wide with worry. "Are you okay? We were about to go look for you when you ran in."

Sophie nodded, her brain still not fully working.

Keefe frowned and walked over to where she was standing. Gently, he removed her glove and held her hand, sending calming emotions towards her.

"Thanks,"she whispered, still spooked.

Keefe smiled and removed his hand, but Sophie grabbed into it. "Please. I need you."

Keefe nodded. "Just relax, Sophie."

Sophie was too distracted to notice that he hadn't called her Foster.

But someone else noticed. And she was sitting on the floor, teal eyes gleaming with excitement.

Keefe pulled Sophie away from the door and got her to sit down next to everyone else.

"So... what happened?"asked Biana and Tam exactly at the same time. Any other time, Sophie would have teased them but now...

"I-I don't really know."replied Sophie, gripping Keefe's hand tighter.

"There was green eyes and then..."Sophie shivered. Then she focused on the calm emotions.

Sophie explained everything to her friends, and when she was done, they looked as spooked as her.

"Is it possible that..." Biana paused, looking at an old scar on her hand. "Maybe they're... back."

She didn't need to clarify. Everyone knew what she meant.

Was it possible that the Neverseen were back?
