Sophie had really thought it was all over when the Neverseen were defeated. She thought that from that day, she would only have to deal with dares from Keefe and her matchmaking list.

But who was she kidding? She should have known that the Neverseen were only the beginning.

As she looked at Charlotte's perfect face in her memory log, she suddenly feared for all her friends. They had all barely survived the Neverseen. And now, all Sophie's friends could-

No, she thought. Don't think like that, Sophie. You survived the Neverseen, you can survive this.

But could her friends? She thought if Biana, who had almost died in a pool of her own blood after she decided to take on Vespera on her own. And Keefe, who had gone through many horrors while he was with the Neverseen. Fitz, who nearly got burned to death after they tried to heal Fintan's mind. Dex, who now had a scar from when he tried to stop the Neverseen from kidnapping Sophie. Tam, who had saved them by going with the Neverseen, and Linh, who had saved Atlantis. Like everyone else, she almost had a planting.

And Sophie was there in all those events.

Maybe they shouldn't be friends anymore.

She heard a sleeping bag shuffle and turned around to see Keefe, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

Sophie gaped at him.

"Morning, Foster,"he muttered. He noticed that she was staring at him. "What?"

"Um... How about you go look in a mirror?"Sophie managed to choke out.

"I know that I'm hot Foster."he smirked.

"Just go look, or trust me, you will regret it."

Keefe rolled his eyes and got out of the sleeping bag. He stretched lazily like Sophie's old cat, Marty.

Sophie immediately noticed that he didn't have a shirt on. She stared at his bare chest, praying that Keefe wouldn't notice. Sadly, he did.

"Checking me out, Foster?"he said with another smirk.

Sophie reddened. "No..."

He sighed dramatically. "Oh Foster, when will you learn? You can't lie do an Empath. Especially not this one."

"Just go look in the mirror,"sighed Sophie.

"Fine." He walked of to Sophie's bathroom. Soon enough, she heard a blood freezing scream.

She stifled a laugh. Who knew that the great and amazing Keefe Sencen screamed like a girl?!

"WHO DID THIS TO MY BEAUTIFUL HAIR?! OH MY HAIR! NOO!"

Sophie heard snickers. Tam and Fitz high fived each other. Bald Keefe came running out of the bathroom as if he had seen a monster. "WHO DID THIS?"

He ended up getting hit in the face by a pillow. That's what you get when you wake up Biana.

Biana mumbled something and then snatched Dex's pillow. She covered her head with it.
Dex was still snoring.

Linh was awake, and she was blinking the sleep out of her eyes. Nobody noticed her.

Tam and Fitz took one look at Keefe's horrified face and burst into laughter.
