my eyes widen and my head goes crazy.

happening

"n-no, no! this can't be happening! daniel, run!"

i cried, and shouted over and over, pulling and yelling until i couldn't breathe anymore.

"shut the fuck up, or else i'm going to hurt you as well."

"i'd rather die for daniel than let you hurt him."

"jessica!"

once i've spoken those words to him, he avoids my gaze and presses the gun to his head forcefully.

then there he goes, the one who was about to shoot daniel, pulled the trigger before a blink of eye, immediately causing daniel to collapse to the ground, blood dripping down everywhere, down his body and onto the grass.

i broke down, letting all the emotions go through me, eventually turning into rage and snapping the rope apart.

"jess, open your eyes!"

that voice.

one by one.

instantly, i run down and grab the gun from his hand, shooting each and everyone of them. i need to finish what they've begun.

"bring daniel back! bring him back!" i scream at them repeatedly. this can't be real, no it can't.

"jessica?!"

here it is again.

once i was done shooting them all, i drop the gun, and immediately kneel down in front of daniel, trembling and shaking, my breath hitching every once in a while.

i stay there, tears falling down my cheeks, and landing on my knees, as i lean forward, putting my hands on my face and me elbows on my legs.

i keep telling myself, why?
what did i do to deserve this?
i've been almost kidnapped, just for one reason.
to lure in daniel. it's all my fault.
i just want him back! please!

waves of tears fall out of the corners of my eyes, causing me to get a painful headache.

a couple moments later, i feel a pair of arms go around my hips, pulling me into their chest tightly saying, "jessica, i'm here, please wake up."

the voice kept repeating in my head

i snap my head around to see another daniel, hugging me, and putting his head in the crook of my neck, muffling a chain of words really quick, not understanding any of the sentences he's saying.

i realize what was going on and instantly sat up straight from my bed, my chest heaving up and down, my breath out of air and my throat dry, needing some water.

i felt the same type of embrace as in the nightmare i just had, daniel saying some words that brought me back to reality.

"don't worry princess, i got you, im not leaving anytime soon. hold on, i'm here."

princess?

i turn my head around slowly and caught daniel's eye, about to release a tear as he's holding me tightly, suddenly smiling that i'm finally up and awake.

my hand reaches up to his face, my skin brushing lightly against his, happy that it's actually him.

suddenly, i tackle him down onto the bed and lay on his chest, glad he's okay and not gone.

"thank god you're here, dani"
