i arrived to my own house for once and plopped on the couch, all by myself. i doze off and stare blankly at the ceiling,  deciding if i should i go to school from now on. i literally only stay for a period or two and leave right after because of the same two people.

jack and tori.

as i was in my train of deep, unwanted thoughts, without the person even knocking on the door, the door swings open, revealing daniel and jack on the other side. i quickly stand up from my spot and put my hands to my eyes to close them, rubbing them. no one talks as it keeps quiet.

soon enough, i couldn't take anymore of the silence, but i didn't want to uncover my eyes. i don't want to see any of them at the moment. i take a couple steps back and took my hands slowly off my eyes. jack stares at the ground, his arms behind his back, while daniel comes up to me, placing one of his hands on my shoulder, pulling me closer with his other hand around my waist. he leans in closer to the side of my ear to whisper, causing me to flinch, sending shivers down my spine. "jess, did you run away from him again? remember, i said to not leave." he says lowly, pulling me away from his warmth. he sends a concerned look my way as he lets go and walks to jack. i stand there, utterly silent.

it's honestly too weird to be in this situation and this is basically the part where i just sprint to my room. but no, daniel is here. let's just hope that no one else barges in.

jack sticks to his spot as his mouth is slightly open, an attempt to say something but nothing comes out. daniel, who was right beside him, instantly pushes him closer to me, making me take couple steps back. i can't deal with this.

"jack, you told me and i didn't get angry at all, not even a tiny bit. you can tell her." the brunette comforts jack by patting him on the back. jack finally stores his confidence and takes another attempt to speak, but no. clearly, someone just has to interrupt.

"i say boom boom boom now lemme hear you say wayhoo!" zach shouts as he peeks in from the open door. jack instantly whips around and runs to jump on zach, repeating what zach said back to him. they keep hugging while jumping all over the place, screaming out each other's names. and i'm especially pissed off because this is a no-shoes house. i cover my eyes once again, adding a groan to my mood.

i just want to know what he was going to say and i'll go.

on the other hand, daniel's mood lightened up apparently. "ooh, hashtag jachary. we all need that once in a while."

after daniel said those words, i plaster a confused look on my face. "jachary? are they dating or something? even when he's dating tori?" i blurt out loudly, causing everyone to become quiet, while zach throws a death-threatening glare right at jack.
