The boys picked me up as usual and we drove to school. No dead cheerleaders.
G and I got to chemistry class and Dr. Davis assigned a project that was to be completed over the weekend. This was both irritating and confusing because, for starters, we hadn't even learned anything yet, and second it's only day two of junior year and I have a project due next Monday that will probably take up the majority of my weekend. Upsetting to say the least.

"Your groups for this project are your lab partners. Hopefully this serves as an opportunity to better acquaint yourselves. Each group has a different assignment with different results, so you can't copy off each other if anyone was planning on getting an easy A."

Our project had to do with the types of rocks and minerals found along the seafront, which seemed more like a geology thing than a chemistry thing but hey—what do I know? Plus it gave me an excuse to go to the beach this weekend, so I can't complain.

Class concluded and it was finally lunch.

"Party at my house Friday... you both have to be there. Ethan too okay? I'd ask him myself but I have no idea where he is."

"I'm so down," Gray said.

"First party of the year, huh? Something crazy is bound to go down," I replied.

"Don't look at me, Ethan is the crackhead of the family. If anyone does something, it'll be him,"

"You right... though you do have your moments too... Ladies first,"
I said, pushing open one of the cafeteria doors.

He rolled his eyes and walked ahead. I saw a few girls, who I assumed were sophomores and freshman, turn their heads in my direction. But of course they weren't looking at me, no they were drooling over Grayson. He play-winked at one of them and I elbowed his side.

"You're the worst," I muttered.

"And you're no fun," he mumbled back, grinning.

"Wassup Grellie," someone says, falling into step with us.

It's Sophie.

"What did you just say?" I ask.

"It's you two- Grayson plus Ellie equals Grellie." She answers.

"Awful."

"Don't do that," Grayson adds.

We make our way to the usual table and sit, joining a few of our friends and a few of the guys' football friends, one of which I have kinda been crushing on since freshman year: Noah.

"So, are you guys going to Erica's party on Friday?" Noah asks.

"For sure," Gray answers, "Sophie?"

"Duh." She replies.

"Should be pretty crazy," Noah adds looking over to Grayson.

"Why does everyone keep looking at me?!"

We all laugh.
