CHAPTER SEVEN -Power

"Athanasia has eight regions. From the North we have the Pathagonia and our region Casteria,from the East we have Sperri and Hembarte,from the West we have Destroa and Lasdrian and from the south we have Chanlo and Rionan. These eight regions have their own schools like ours. Dahil sa nalalapit na World Battle,pipili ang walong magkakaibang school per region ng kanilang mga ilalaban sa battle. Magaganap ang battle sa South East part ng Athanasia. Tatlong linggo mula bukas ay magaganap ang World Battle. There's a possibility na mamili na ang tatlong headmasters ng isasali."

This is the first time that the history subject catch my interest...This is sooo not me!

Nagpatuloy pa ang lecturer sa pagpapaliwanag tungkol sa eight na regions. Kaya naman pala malamig dito kahit nasa labas tsh! Nasa North pala kami.

Pagkatapos ng klase sa history ay sumunod ang subject ng Physical Education. Kung sa mundo ng mga normal na tao ay mga sports katulad ng Volleyball and such ang ginagawa. Dito ay kelangan malaman mo ang limit ng katawan mo sa pamamagitan ng pakikipaglaban.

Nandito kami ngayon sa Ardent Arena at naka uniform na parang P.E uni din katulad sa Yukio High na dati kong school.

Hinihingal ko siyang tinitigan habang nag-aabang nang kaniyang panibagong atake. Halos mag iilang oras na rin kaming naglalaban habang nanonood ang aming mga kasama pati ang Lec.

He lunged forward,quickly sprinting towards me and coming closer,then jabbing out his dagger in attempt to stab me. I ducked forward and quickly stab his legs.

"Ah!"he winced in pain as I slowly remove my dagger and after I removed it I hurriedly stood up and give him a kick in his face.

Lumayo agad ako pagsipa ko sa kaniyang mukha na ngayon ay may dugo na.

"Nice kick.."he smirked then he sprinted at me again but this time I raised my right hand with another dagger and the two blades clanged together,creating a rumbling echo through the arena.

The weight of my dagger was dragging him down but he soon recovered and pushed back hard. He was very strong,so I jumped back and dashed forward with my dagger straight out infront of me. I attempted to stab his arm but he tucked his shoulders and impaled my stomach.

"Shit!"I snarled jumping back to recover. Until the whole arena was covered with darkness.

"Okay opponents! Use your senses and focus!"um-echo ang boses ng lecturer sa buong stadium.

I slowly closed my eyes and focus then I suddenly feel an energy that fills my body.

What is this? If this is my power then it'll be better..

I absentmindedly opened my palms and a weapon suddenly came out. I almost gasped in shock.

A boomerang...

It is typically constructed as a flat airfoil. Umikot ako sa aking pwesto at tsaka ibinato ang boomerang. Maririnig sa stadium ang pagbato ko ng boomerang.

"Argh!"

Gotcha!

Bumalik ang boomerang sa akin,at kaagad ko naman itong sinalo. I prevent myself from breathing heavily so that he wouldn't hear a noise from me.

Hanggang kelan pa ba kami maglalaban at magpapatayan dito?

Muli akong nag concentrate at unti-unting ibunuka ang aking mga palad. Nanlaki ang mata ko ng may lumabas na lilang apoy sa aking mga kamay.

I heard them gasped in shock. Natulala naman ang lalaking kalaban ko. Nanginginig ang mga kamay ko habang pinagmamasdan ko ang lilang apoy dito hanggang sa namatay ang apoy at nanghihina akong bumagsak sa sahig. Kita ko ang muling pagliwanag ng buong arena at ang nag-aalalang mata ng lecturer bago ko tuluyang naipikit ang aking mga mata.

I feel so weak....

Kasalukuyang nagmi-meeting ang tatlong headmasters kasama ang mga napiling kalahok para sa nalalapit na battle.

"The group is almost complete."sabi ni Headmaster Paul habang hinihimas ang kaniyang baba.

"Zinc Stone has the power of stone and he can even make himself a stone while fighting an opponent. We have Venus a very intelligent healer kailangan natin ng katulad niya na mabilis at magaling mag isip,Ryan Leaf sa nature..he can also make the trees alive. Raiden Storm he has a good tactics. But the thing here is Kalen can't join the battle due to his injury.."

"Kelan po ba mags-start ang trainings namin headmaster?"tanong ni Venus habang prenteng nakaupo at naglalabas ng parang bilog ilaw na puti sa kaniyang kamay.

"Stop playing with your healing power Venus."naiiritang sambit naman ni Raiden na katabi nito sa kanan.

"Wala pa nga tayo sa training nagkakaganiyan na kayo,you should all focus and work as a team."mariing tinitigan ni Headmaster Sherica si Zinc na ginawang bato ang kalhati ng katawan niya. Agad naman niyang binalik sa dati ang katawan niya dahil sa titig ng headmaster.

"Avoid playing your power inside this room."headmaster Gourd said with authority,napayuko naman ang apat.

"Maybe we should create another rule.."headmaster Sherica smirked. "Never use your power nor ability inside the Academia if not needed."

"We can't just make a rule without the consent of our queens."sabi naman ni headmaster Paul.

"Your trainings will start tomorrow. You don't need to attend classes you're all excused."

"Apat lang kami?"tanong ni Zinc.

"We're still working on who will be the other member of this group."ambang sasagot ang dalawang headmasters nang naunahan sila ni Headmaster Gourd.

"Bakit hindi na lang kayo kumuha sa mga Nobles?"tanong ni Raiden.

"Veronica and Victoria Lodge? my sisters perhaps?"suhestiyon ni Venus sa lahat.

"We need someone like Kalen. Mautak,mabilis,magaling makipaglaban at malakas ang pakiramdam."

"We have Zinc who's better than Kalen right?"

"Venus Lodge enough."malamig na suway ni Zinc kaya naman tumigil na ito sa pagkuwestiyon sa headmasters.

Nanatiling tahimik ang buong silid at tanging ugong lang ng aircon at ang pag tunog ng wall clock ang maririnig.

"I can feel a strong power inside the Academia.."napalingon sila sa nagsalitang si Raiden.

"Maybe the queens? On the royal floor?"

"No..."seryosong sagot ni Raiden.

"Can you—can you describe how strong it is?"

"More powerful than the queens."nanlaki ang mga mata ng tatlong headmaster pati ang tatlong miyembro ng grupo sa sinabi niya.
