CHAPTER TWENTY ONE -Angel In Disguise

"You all did great eminents! Take a rest before you proceed to the Dining Hall for dinner."pumalakpak pa si Headmaster Sherica bago niya kami tinalikuran at pumasok sa loob.

"Oh my gosh! I think we need to celebrate since wala naman tayong training bukas hindi ba?"She giggled while Ryan face palmed.

"We shoudn't waste a day just for a celebration. I'll train you tomorrow before breakfast."malamig na sabi ni Zinc.

"What a killjoy!"Venus flipped her hair and rolled her eyes heavenwards.

"Venus you'll be the first one."walang tigil ang pagrereklamo ni Venus sa sinabi ni Zinc hanggang sa makarating na kami sa elevator.

"Bakit kaya hindi pa ilipat ng headmasters si Layla sa Noble Floor?"natabunan ng reklamo ni Venus ang tanong ni Ryan.

"Pwede ba Venus? Ang ingay mo! Tumahimik ka na nga lang.."suway ni Ryan sa kaniya.

"Whatever dahon!"once again Venus Lodge and her rolling eyes.

Seriously Layla? Rolling eyes?

Bago pa makapagsalita ulit si Ryan ay tumunog na ang elevator senyales na nasa norm floor na kami. Before I went out I bid my goodbye to them and walk towards the right wing.

After I went inside my dorm,I cleaned myself and change my clothes into the comfortable one. I was about to rest on my comfy bed when someone knocked on the door.

I lazily wear my slippers and slowly opened the door. Napaayos ako nang tayo ng makita ang babaeng mukhang bumaba pa galing sa langit.

The angel looking woman of Zinc Mattheu Stone.

"Oh seems like the Layla Andrada is about to rest?"she smiled sweetly but it immediately turned into a smirk.

"Uhuh..ano ba ang maipaglilingkod ko sa'yo Miss Adrielle Morrigan."I smiled genuinely in return.

"Oh can I come in?"she pouted as she raised her eyebrows. She's cute lil' angel.

Binuksan ko nang malaki ang pintuan at nilahad ang kamay ko para papasukin siya. Ngumiti pa siya at tumango bago pumasok sa aking dorm.

"Make yourself comfortable Miss Adrielle."she just smiled at me and comfortably sitted on the fluffy chair beside my desk.

"Oh my gosh what a cute lil' kitten you have here."inambaan siya ni Darkel ng kalmot kaya naman hindi na niya ito pinansin ulit hanggang sa namuo ang katahimikan sa pagitan namin.

"Do you think he will like you?"I was taken a back when she suddenly break the deafening silence between us.

"Excuse me?"my forehead creased then she just smirked at me.

"Oh my my my..don't play innocent Andrada I know you like my Zinc."napanganga naman ako sa sinabi niya.

I'm taking back what I said about her,she's not actually an angel from heaven. I won't deny that she really have an angelic face but her attitude? Nevermind.

"Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi mo Adrielle."

"Ha! Where's the 'Miss' there Andrada? Sinabi ko lang na alam kong gusto mo si Zinc nawala na ang Miss bago ang pangalan ko?"

I can't believe that behind those angelic features is her bad attitude. What an angel in disguise!

"Alam mo? Hindi ko talaga maintindihan ang ipinunta mo rito. Nagsasayang ka ng oras mo para lang sabihin sa'kin 'yan?"I massage my temples. "Or the Angel Adrielle is seeing me as a threat?"I saw how her eyes widened.

"How dare you? You are nothing compared to me..half breed."she smirked.

What??? Half breed?!

"Alam mo Adrielle,don't waste your time on me. I don't have plans on liking your Zinc Mattheu Stone. So please don't be threatened on a norm like me.."I manage to smile sweetly before opening the door widely for her. "The door is open for you to get out and don't worry too much I'm also one of the supporters of your love team."halos hindi maipinta ang mukha ni Adrielle sa aking sinabi,dali dali siyang tumayo at naglakad palapit sa'kin at inambaan ako ng sampal.

"Sige ilapat mo,ano na lang kaya ang sasabihin ng mga tao rito na ang anghel ni Zinc Stone ay nanampal ng isang norm?"dahan dahan niyang ibinaba ang kamay niya. "Pero dahil mabait naman talaga ako I won't do that."

"Ha! Mabait? Ikaw?"hindi makapaniwalang sambit niya.

"Oo naman..mabait naman talaga ako sa mga taong mabait sa'kin I've never used this kind of attitude to anyone else..sa'yo pa lang."I sighed. "Ganito pala ang feeling ng nagtataray no?"inosenteng tanong ko.

"The nerve of this girl! Tandaan mo..we're not yet done."she smirked before she turned her back on me.

I sighed in relief when she was out of my sight. I closed the door and lazily dive in my bed. I'm not actually expecting that i'll be able to send her out like that,unang pagiging sarkastiko pa lang niya ay alam kong may kaya pa siyang gawin. I was actually nervous while talking to her like that.

"Do you think he will like you?"

"Do you think he will like you?"

"Do you think he will like you?"

"Do you think he will like you?"

Parang may sunod sunod na tumusok sa puso ko nang nagpaulit-ulit ang mga salitang binitawan niya sa aking utak.

I found myself wiping my tears. "Why am I even crying? Maybe i'm just missing my lola..right I really missed her so much."

Funny how we can close your eyes to the things we don't want to see. While we can't close our hearts to the things we don't want to feel. I actually knew about those unknown feeling that I feel everytime Zinc is around me and maybe I can't just accept the fact that i'm liking someone who's been very distant to me in the first place. I know that liking someone who likes someone else is a big risk but I really can't just control this feeling that I don't even want to feel.

People around us can't command us to stop liking someone cause in the very first place liking someone is not a choice because if we could actually choose why not choose the person who likes us rather than choosing the person who doesn't even care about our presence? But the thing here is we cannot choose whom we will like cause our heart does.

Maybe they just came into our life to teach us lessons that we can use in the future. Maybe they just—want us to realize that liking someone doesn't mean they actually needs to like you back. It's not always give and take cause sometimes they can't return the same feeling we feel for them and that's——very unfourtunate.

"WHAT THE HELL IS FCKING WRONG WITH YOU ANDRADA?!"I almost fall on my bed when someone barged in my room.
