Matapos makauwi ay naligo na si Ria. Ang pamangkin naman ay hindi maawat sa pagkukwento sa mga hayop at sa mga taong nakasalamuha niya sa farm. Bago kasi sa bata ang buhay sa probinsya.

Pagkalabas ni Ria sa banyo ay nakita niyang nag-ri-ring ang kaniyang cell phone.

"Why?" Agad niyang tanong. Alam niyang si Fervs iyon dahil natandaan niya ang last 4 digits nito.

"Where are you?" Ganting tanong din nito na binalewala ang kaniyang tanong.

"Why?" Ulit ni Ria.

"Let's meet." Diretsahang sagot nito.

"Why?" Nagtataka at nalilitong tanong ulit ni Ria.

"I have something to tell you, about the investigati--"

"Where and what time?" Parang bang batang excited umalis na pinutol na niya ang sinasabi ng nasa kabilang linya.

"Sa la café nalang sa Bayan. Kailan ka ba pwede?"

"I'm free tonight. I will go ahead, can we meet now?" Tila nag alinlangan pa si Ria sa kaniyang pag aaya.

"Sure. Sure, I can't fetch you I am coming from Pampanga. Can you drive?" Tanong nito.

"Of course I can. I'll head there now."

"Okay drive safely."

"Okay thanks. Drive safely too." Aniya at pinatay na ang tawag at lumabas na sa kwarto.

"The dinner is ready. Wait, ria are you going somewhere? It's almost nine pm dear. Ipag-pa-bukas mo na iyan." Marina caught ria walking towards the door.

"I am still full po and this is an urgent thing. I'll drive safely. Bye ma, I'll be late please don't wait for me." She kissed her mother's left cheek and just waved to Gil that is actually had a plan to run towards her but she already closed the door.

"Let me know when you're home!" Sigaw ni Marina.

"I will!" Ria replied with the same loudness.

"Where will tita ninang go?" Gil asked almost in a cracked voice.

"She's in a hurry baby. I forgot to ask her. But we should eat first, come on the food is waiting."

"I'm already here. Where are you?" Ria texted fervs as soon as she stepped her feet on the place of La Café. Ilang minute bago ito nakapag reply sa kanyang text.

"Almost there. I'm walking, saan ka banda?" Fervs replied.

"Right side sa may harap near the counter." Ria replied and tried to roam her eyes and saw fervs looking at her.

She waved and felt ashamed of being too excited.

Fervs didn't made any violent reaction or whatsoever.

"So..uhm..should we order first? Or uhm, uh--"

Fervs cut her off.

"I think we should eat first. Hindi ka pa naghahapunan." Anito na nakataas pa ang dalawang kilay.

"How did you know?" taking tanong niya. Kinunot niya ang kilay at napakagat labi.

Is she too excited that it turned out to be too obvious?

"Uhuh you are too excited to hear the things--"

Ria cut her off.

"Ofcourse! You said it's about the investigation!" Nagsisi agad si Ria sa taas ng boses niya dahil napalingon na ang ibang mga customer na nanduroon.
