Y/N's POV

I yawned as bright lights filled my room. The events of last night replayed in my mind, making me remember the boys telling me to go upstairs since I was really tired.

I sat up on my bed and checked my phone - 7:57 am. I groaned as I rolled back into bed, thinking it was too early to be alive. Suddenly, I remembered that we were supposed to go out shopping today. I sat up on my bed and rubbed my eyes, yawning again.

I made my way towards the bathroom with my clothes, making sure Mackie, Francis, or Keifer wasn't in the shower.

I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, and changed into a short blue dress with small white flowers on it.

Walking back into my room, I brushed out my dry hair and overheard the boys talking about what outfits to wear. I snickered as I closed the door. I guess guys really do care more about clothes and styles than some girls now don't they.

A knock on my door cam about twenty minutes later. I stopped scrolling through Mackie's Instagram and answered the door only to be greeted by the real icon himself.

"Hey, Y/N. You ready?" he smirked as he examined my eyes. His eyes clouded with an emotion I couldn't really recognize. I nodded and smiled. "Yeah, of course! How about the other two?"

Mackie tilted his head, gesturing towards the stairs. I looked towards the side of and saw Keifer and Francis sitting on the stairs and talking inaudibly. I smiled to myself as I followed the boys downstairs and to a designated driver.

"Woah, you guys even have a designated driver?" I asked in awe, while I buckled my seat belt and blessed the driver's hand."

Francis rapidly nodded with a bright grin on his face, "It's crazy, right?" I smiled again at his enthusiasm as I pulled out my phone to take a picture.

All four of us got close for the photo while I extended my arm above to try and capture all of us in the picture. I silently whined since I couldn't get my entire face in, the camera cutting off the bottom of my face.  I frowned and in the camera I saw Mackie's eyes flash in my direction.

In a blink of an eye, Mackie grabbed my phone and pulled me close by hooking an arm around my shoulder. He pulled my face close to his to the point where I could hear his breath against my ear.

Heat touched gently onto my cheek as the color rushed onto them . I smiled at the lenses as Mackie took the picture. I immediately tore away from his arm and grabbed my phone from his hand. Mackie smirked and turned to face forward, as I pouted and turned to face the window.

Keifer and Francis silently snickered to themselves, but went back to their own business after a while. I faced towards the three boys.

"Why do you guys need to go shopping for clothes anyway?" I asked curiously, resting my head on the palm of my hand.

Keifer's eyes lit up as he spoke, "For our concerts, we always try to evaluate our own style, even though most of the time, we just wear matching suits. So basically, we're just shopping for some outfits for the upcoming concert you're coming to and just some normal clothes in general."

I nodded and smiled at his appreciation for clothes as he continued to talk about and show me photos of some of their other styles during concerts. The next couple minutes flew by as we pulled into the mall parking lot.

I thanked the driver while following the boys, who were getting out of the car. I walked next to Francis, who was practically glowing with excitement.

We walked into the first store that had a lot of suits and dresses for people our age. I sent myself to walk around the store even though everything was so expensive, while the boys went to examine suits that were a pretty navy color.

Mackie called me over and I walked away from a pretty maroon strapless dress. I popped up next to Mackie's side while he was wearing a maroon suit and dusting himself off in the mirror.

"Well, what do you think?"

A/N:

SUPER short chapter! Only about 800 words, can you believe that?

Well, things might be like this so some time since my laptop is going under repair and I'm using my phone for updates. I wasn't able to post Monday, so I'm posting Tuesday (Philippines). Update will most likely be shorter but I'll try to get them out almost everyday and more frequently. I'm working on a new cover for the book so look out for that. Plus, regarding the lack of updates, I've been getting distracted because I've just been binging looking at the Boys' Instagrams (ou).

Edit: I changed the name and cover for this story so it should now be known as "Can't Live Without You". I don't know if it's just me but it still shows up as "Just Knock on My Door" if I search up Mackie's name but when you click on it, it says the new title. Please comment if it does that for you too!

Edit Edit: I ended up just changing back the title since I felt that it's more fitted so don't mind anything else and I believe I want to keep the cover and title the same for the rest of this book. 💝
