Mackie's POV
Y/N grabbed my arm in worry and pulled me back as I tried to go up on stage. I knew she was worried even after I tried reassuring her for months.
"Mack, babe, are you sure you want to do this? It's not like I don't want you to, but I just want you to do what's best for your career, and I don't know if this is the right choice," she tried convincing me for the fifteenth time tonight.
I looked into her mesmerizing eyes that I never get tired of and sighed softly.
Y/N L/N. My girlfriend of 3 years, now that I'm 17. Three years ago, I confessed that I loved her and she reciprocated my feelings. Ever since then, we've been dating. And I could say, I've never been happier.
Though her parents did come back and she moved into a new house about two blocks away from mine, she still spends all her time at my house as if she still lives there. She sleeps over almost every night of the week and has an entire wardrobe in her old room. My parents welcome her in and my siblings do as well.
Keifer and I are best buds again after he spent two and a half months apologizing to both of us. It's kind of hard to remain mad at someone who buys you the next ten suits for upcoming concerts.
Esang has become a good friend to Y/N and me and has even gotten a new single coming out next Fall. Y/N has recently opened up to her and it seems as if everything that had happened in the past, had never happened at all.
And Francis? Well, Francis is Francis, let's just say that.
But everything that went on three years ago was just a buildup to me finding the most perfect person in my life and I wouldn't change a thing.
I snapped out of my flashbacks and looked down at the love of my life and smiled. I leaned down and placed a small peck on her lips, which distracted her enough to get me out of her grasp and onto the stage, but not before whispering, "Of course I want to do this."
Y/N's POV
I watched as Mackie walked onto the stage with nothing but confidence, alongside Keifer and Francis, while I was nothing but a nervous wreck as I walked towards my reserved seat in the audience.
Mackie Empuerto. A worldwide popstar of the boyband, the TNT Boys. The most handsome boy, who has the most contagious smile. And my boyfriend of 3 years.
Dating a celebrity for the past three years has not been the easiest thing in the world but definitely the most interesting thing. Since the boys' manager recommended that we keep our relationship a secret, since Mackie is so famous with the young girls of our generation, we've been hiding for the past three years.
Going on secret dates, sneaking out at night, and sharing milkshakes and smoothies with masks on has definitely been an adventure.
But now, my boyfriend is making a risky decision that could change his career forever.
He's about to announce our relationship during their concert, that is indeed, being broadcasted.
Yep, totally super duper great.
My eyes reverted back to the three boys on stage as they finished one of their songs that led to a talking intermission.
Mackie caught my gaze and smiled softly when we made eye contact. He nodded at me as if to signal that it was time. I exhaled a breath I was holding for a while and braced myself in their seat.
Mackie spoke up first, "Hello everyone!! We are the TNT Boys!!" Cheers filled the room and died down just as quickly, at the nervous coughing that came from Mackie.
"There's something really important that I have to announce, and I thought why not do it in front of an audience," Mackie tried to pull it off by laughing but everyone in the audience was waiting intently.
I could tell he was as nervous as I was, even though he had a confident personality showing off. I could tell his breathing was becoming abrupt from the echoes in the microphone. Mackie gazed into the audience, looking at all the people. Keifer and Francis walked up behind him and patted his back in support because, of course, they were in on the plan.
Mackie caught my eye and stared at me for a few seconds. I smiled softly and realized that for our relationship to go any further, he had to do this. Still holding his gaze, I nodded with a small grin on my face.
He lifted the microphone to his mouth and spoke without breaking our eye contact, "Three years ago, I met the most amazing girl in the world. She was beautiful, charming, smart, and maybe just a little cheesy," I giggled softly as he went on, "I was naturally drawn to her as if I already knew she was the one for me. It felt as if we knew each other our entire lives."
A few people gasped at the news, but some people let out quiet 'awws.'
Mackie finished off his sweet little statement with nothing but genuine love in his eyes, "That's why I would like to confirm, to the world, that I do have a girlfriend. A girlfriend who means more than the world to me. Because I love her. I love you, Y/N L/N."
It began to hurt to smile and laugh at the same time but I didn't think about it, as Mackie came down from the stage and made his way towards me. He grabbed my hips and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He went in for a kiss, but I got nervous at the people watching and turned my head so his lips hit my cheek instead.
The concert hall filled with cheers, and a small number of people booing, but we didn't care. This was our moment, and no one could ruin it.
Mackie's head laid on my lap, as I played with his hair. After the confession, the concert went on as normal luckily, without anyone causing a riot. We came back to Mackie's house to relax and now we're just waiting on his bed for dinner to be done.
Mackie shoved his phone into my face, with a big smile on his face. I plopped a potato chip into my mouth as I grabbed the phone and read the article in front of me.
I raised my eyebrows as I read a portion of the article out loud, "Mackie Empuerto's new girlfriend revealed and just as smoking as we expected."
I dropped the phone on his face and as he writhed in pain, I laughed and wheezed, "Do people really read this stuff? It's so stupid!"
He just scoffed as he took my arm and pulled me under him, "I read it and you can't deny that it's true, baby."
My face heated up with blush and he just laughed. He pinned my wrists so I couldn't move and the position we were in made my face turn tomato red.
Mackie leaned in closer to my face and smirked before closing the gap with a kiss. He kissed me hard and I responded back almost as instantly. He moved his lips roughly and deepened the kiss and in response, I bit his lower lip softly.
He groaned as he released my wrists and held my head for support. He put his knee in between my legs and I tugged on his hair.
We stayed like this for what seemed like forever until our bodies gave out.
Our breathing became ragged and my heart was bursting out of my chest.
"Wow..." we simultaneously said.
Once we calmed down, Mackie pulled me into a hug.
"Love me forever?"
"Yes, Mack. I'll love you forever."
Because you'll forever be the boy, who let me knock on the door to your heart.
