Mackie's POV

"What? Esang?" I said, helping the girl off the floor. I haven't seen her ever since the . . . time she caused Y/N's injury at the mall. "What are you doing here?"

Esang gave me a confused look, "What do you mean? I always come to your concerts. Why would I miss this one?"

She wasn't wrong but right now I got other things on my mind. I helped her stand up straight as fast as I could and dusted myself off. "Sorry Esang, I have something very important to do."

I turned around back in the direction of the stairs when Esang grabbed my arm. I turned back to her to see her puppy dog eyes.

"You're going to see Y/N, aren't you," she whined, her grip tightening against my arm. I didn't have to answer because I knew she could see the answer in my eyes. I pried her hand off my arm and continued speed walking towards my destination.

I heard rapid footsteps behind me and instantly knew that Esang was following me. After about 5 seconds of silently walking behind me, she decided to speak up.

"Mack, I just don't understand! Why do you like her?"

I didn't answer.

"She's not even that pretty! Is she forcing you?"

I started walking faster as I saw the bleachers, still not answering.

"She's probably somewhere kissing another boy!"

I stopped in my tracks as my breath hitched in my throat. But not because of Esang. Not because of her meaningless insults. But because of the scene in front of me.

As I reached the bleachers, I was too late.

I watch as Keifer leans into Y/N.

And kisses her.

Esang's POV

"Mack, I just don't understand! Why do you like her?" I exclaimed, following him to God knows where.

He didn't answer. Wow, so he was just planning on ignoring his girlfriend? What an ass.

I continued, "She's not even that pretty!" I was lying, I knew I was. Y/N was beautiful. But I continued anyway, "Is she forcing you?"

No answer again.

"She's probably somewhere kissing another boy!" I let the last one slip out before I ran into Mackie's back. I was about to yell at him for suddenly stopping and probably ruining my hair, but I looked over his tall shoulder.

I watched as a long haired boy, which I knew as Keifer, leaned into a girl a little shorter than him. Y/N? Wow, that was definitely Y/N. I almost let out a laugh when I realized she was doing exactly as I predicted.

I smirked as I patted Mackie's shoulder playfully.

"I told you Mack. Y/N is such a whor-," I stopped when I looked at his expression. Genuine pain.

I've never seen his face like that. Even when I broke his heart. Was Y/N really that important?

More important than me?

I looked back at the scene in front of us. Y/N's eyes were wide open. She wasn't kissing back. Her eyes were clouded with another thought. Or another boy.

I looked back at Mackie as he took in the scene. He really did love her, didn't he.

My hand moved instinctively up to Mackie's face. I laid my hand softly against his eyes, covering them and making sure he couldn't see the scene that hurt him so much. Tears pricked my eyes, as the sad reality of the situation settled in.

Mackie doesn't love me. He never had.

I need to let him go. Free him.

My black hair softly rested on my shoulders, shaking from me holding in my cries.

And we stood there, me covering his eyes, and him dropping tears onto my small hand.

A/N:

Honestly I'm so sorry. This whole schedule thing isn't working. But I'll try harder. I promise.

I'm thinking of starting a Mackeifer story and an original story.

The ending for this story might be really crappy but I feel that that may be the reason that I've gotten bored with updating. But I hope that with new and improved stories, I can get back into the groove of writing.

Wish me luck and I'll see you all soon, my loves.
