Esang's POV
I clicked my tongue in annoyance when I saw Y/N on the ground. She winced and her hand shot straight to her ankle. I rolled my eyes at her fake injury. Why did I have such luck running into Y/N?
"Can't you look where you're going? Or are you as stupid as you dress?" I spat, dusting my shoulder off.
I felt a sting of guilt when I saw her whimper and shrink down at my voice. My hand unconsciously reached out but I caught myself in the act and withdrew it before she saw.
Y/N winced once more as she spoke, "Just leave me alone, Esang. What are you doing here anyway?"
She stood up to her full height , propping herself on her good ankle. I rolled my eyes again, my level of annoyance starting to get to me. "What? Am I not allowed to go shopping in this mall and store now? Are you that selfish?"
"Esang?" I heard a familiar voice call my name. My eyes lit up as I turned around, completely forgetting about the girl behind me. I found my black haired prince right in front of me and smiled.
"Mackie! I missed you so much!" I exclaimed, hugging him tightly. I felt his hands raise for a hug, which got my hopes up. Yet again, they were ruined by a girl named Y/N. Y/N let out a sore whimper and Mackie used his lifted arms to push me away instead of hug me. He rushed past me and caught Y/N in his hands, making my face red with anger.
I scowled when Mackie sat Y/N down on a nearby bench and touched her hand.
That's supposed to be me.
Mackie narrowed his eyes at me and snapped, "Did you do this, Esang?" He touched Y/N's ankle ever so slightly, causing her to flinch again. I growled as hatred took over my emotions.
I narrowed my eyes at him, silently asking if he was serious. I knew Y/N was faking it! Only she would ever do that. I was so sure of it.
Without thinking, I stomped up to the two on the bench and tore Mackie's hand off of Y/N's crying face.
Mackie gasped and Y/N hiccuped. I swiftly grabbed Y/N's ankle and twisted it around, pulling and tugging.
Y/N gasped in pain, which snapped me out of blur in my eyes. I tugged my hand away and whipped my long black hair. I looked at Y/N cowering and writhing away in pain, Mackie rushing to hug her.
Mackie turned to me with dread in his eyes. He stood to his full height, towering over me. I stepped back in fear.
"What the hell was that, Esang? I knew you changed, but hurting someone intentionally? Especially when you know they're already in pain? I thought you were better than this," Mackie scolded, disbelief filling his eyes. He turned back to the crying girl on the bench, and left me standing there, just like an idiot.
But I didn't make any effort to move.
I watched as Y/N melted in his arms, how he held her and looked at ever ever so gently. Mackie made a quick text as he helped Y/N to her feet, as she calmed down a bit. I watched as Keifer and Francis rushed over, presumably the one Mackie had texted. I watched as care and panic filled their eyes when they saw Y/N.
They just met this girl. How could they care so much?
These boys used to be mine.
What happened?
I miss them.
I miss Mackie . . .
