Chapter Twenty:
Zar or Zee, something like that, tossed me a wary glance before following his new cell mate out of the courtyard. Montgomery shrunk away from Kevin's glare, slowly backing away from us and towards an empty area in the courtyard. Kevin scoffed, shaking his head at the younger boy, and stalked off, catching Bodie and I's arms in the process. Bodie flinched slightly then trotted after us. Footsteps echoed through the prison as inmates scattered throughout the prison once again. "Think they were framed like Christian and I?" I asked as we came to a stop by the entrance of the trough room.
"Ya think those three could kill someone?" Kevin chuckled, his eyes flickering through the surrounding prisoners. Bodie shot a glace towards were they were once standing and shook his head. "Exactly. This place is fucked up and I got a feelin we don't even know half of it." We nodded in agreement and I leaned against my wall. My eyes trailed the room and suddenly my heart stopped when they landed on a tall blonde figure standing with a couple guys. The impossibility of Gary actually being here passed through my mind as the guy's shoulders shook when he laughed. Bodie noticed my stare and followed my gaze. My stomach dropped as he turned and brown eyes and a wide grinned took the place of the blue eyes and smirk I knew so well.
"So how gory is the gym?" I questioned, pulling my gaze for the inmate. Kevin smirked and shrugged, turning towards the doors.
"Not enough."

Christian's fist lashed out towards my face and I sidestepped, blocking his hit. He stumbled forwards slightly at the lack of impact and I took that opportunity to sweep his legs out from under him. I hooked my legs around the back of his knee and placed my palm on his shoulders, pushing his backwards. His arms grabbed my shoulders as he fell and we hit the ground with a thud. Slipping out of his grasp I placed a knee on his chest, pinning him down, and grinned. The Skulls cheered and Christian grinned widely, tossing his sweaty hair from his face. The fifty-niners starred at us with eyebrows raised as I hopped up and offered Christian my hand. I swiped my fingers across my mouth, wincing slightly as they hit the place where my lip split. "You okay?" Christian asked, pulling his uniform back up over his bare shoulders and zipping it up. I nodded and laughed."How many times have I beat you now? Ten? Come on, stepped up your game Christian." He rolled his eyes and shoved me lightly.
"Next time. You'll see." Him stated, pointing at me.
"I wouldn't put money on it." Kevin chuckled, stepping away from the blood colored walls and walking closer to us. "I mean, she did learn to fight from the best." He boasted, placing a hand on his chest.
"You're right, Gary was pretty good at fighting wasn't he." I shot him a wink while laughing then pushing them toward the gym doors. "Come on, food's being served soon and I'm starving."
The gym doors swung closed behind us and the inmates standing next to the doors glanced over warily. Few inmates occupied the courtyard now as to the fact that food was being served. A few were making their way down from the upper floors but that was it. One of the Blacksuits watched us closely as we walked by, his shotgun balanced in his palms. He face split into a grin as we made eye contact; revealing a set of shark-like teeth. A chill ran down my back and I ripped my gaze away from him, my mind wandering to the night of the blood watch. I hadn’t even noticed that we had walked into the trough room until I was shoved to the side. I hit Gray’s chest lightly and he grabbed my arms, straightening me back up.
