"Ryan, calm down." Spencer gave me a glass of water.
"I-i can't."
"Brendon won't come here. He's too drunk."
"Maybe he wasn't THAT drunk."
"He wouldn't do that to you if he were sober." He pointed to the bruises on my neck.
"He hates me."
"Ryan. He's drunk."
"But maybe when he's drunk, his true feelings show."
"That isn't true. Ryan, he loves you."
"Definitely doesn't seem like that at the moment."
"RYAN, HE IS FUCKING DRUNK, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?"
"HE DOESN'T LOVE ME. HE TOLD ME HIMSELF. HE HAS OTHER PEOPLE WHO WON'T LEAVE HIM." I started tearing up.
"RYAN, HE WANTS YOU ONLY YOU. HE IS IN LOVE WITH YOU."
"He doesn't love me..never will..maybe I should just disappear. He will be happy."
Spencer grabbed me by my shoulders and stared me in the eyes, "Ryan, no. He loves you, I promise you that."
"I don't believe in promises anymore." I quickly slid the ring Brendon gave me off my finger and threw it across the room before looking down and letting my tears fall.
The room was silent for a while until Linda walked in.
"Hey, boys. What's wrong?"
"Brendon came home drunk and he strangled Ryan." Spencer muttered.
"Oh god!" Linda gasped. "That's awful."
