My eyes shot open, as I jumped up

My eyes shot open, as I jumped up. Immediately wincing.

Every muscle in my body was screaming in pain, every breath I took burned.

"You're like a roach, when will you learn to stay down!" I heard from across from me.

His large fist made its way to me, inches from my face before I shifted to the side.

With everything I had left in me I sent one last punch to his throat, watching as blood gushed from his mouth.

He dropped to the ground and clutched at the injured body part as the referee began to count.

I backed into the corner and used it to stay up.

"5"

He hadn't made any moves to stand up and he was still clutching his throat.

Oddly enough the whole room was silent, for the first time since we got here—no one made a sound

I scanned the crowd, eyeing Joshua, we made eye contact as the referee counted the last number.

"10"

And with that the silence turned into chaos, a deafening sound erupted everywhere.

I took one last glimpse at my opponent, before dropping to the ground, passing out.

An Hour later

"How is he!" I asked the nurse as she came into view

"How is he!" I asked the nurse as she came into view.

The moment Clarence passed out, Rodrigos guys grabbed him and carried him out the ring—exiting the mansion.

Javier had been by my side since the fight, just as concerned as I was.

At first I was confused on why we didn't go to a hospital, then I realized Clarence wasn't supposed to leave America—technically he was still wanted.

Thankfully Rodrigo had his own set of doctors he had working on him at a facility here in Mexico.

"We'll he's lost a considerable amount of blood, he has broken ribs and a bruised kidney—but he'll live. He'll be in a significant amount of pain when the medicine where's off—but he'll live."
