"you good?" I asked with a chuckle as I looked at Javier across from me.

Ever since we lifted off he'd been antsy, kept bouncing his leg, kept going to the bathroom, kid was going through it.

"I-I've never been on a plane before, I'm just k-kinda—nervous." He said, continuously bouncing his leg.

"You'll be aight, planes ain't as scary as movies and shit makes them—I've been on a lot and nothing's ever happened." I nodded, looking over to see Joshua completely passed out.

I lifted him up bridal style and laid him back down in a more comfortable position before laying a blanket over him and putting a pillow under his head.

"C-can I ask you something?" Javier asked.

"You always do that Jave, if you have a question just ask it, don't ask to ask." I shook my head.

"my bad coach, it's just—some of my questions aren't normal." He sighed.

"You're good, just ask." I told him.

"well uh, when did you Uh—know you-um.."

"get it out bro." I laughed.

"liked dudes too?" He finished, looking down as he did.

I chuckled at his actions before speaking, "I guess I always knew, the same way I look at women, I look at some niggas." I shrugged.

"I honestly didn't have a preference, if I liked how you looked then I liked how you looked—nobody was gonna beat my ass so I ain't really have shit to be scared of." I told him.

"Nowadays though, I ain't really attracted to anybody but jay." I said honestly.

He nodded and stayed quiet.

"why?" I asked squinting my eyes a little.

"Nah-I'm just asking." He responded quickly, too quickly.

"Javier if you have something you wanna tell me then do it—or don't, honestly what you like is your business, nobody has to know."

"b-but it's wrong coach." He said silently.

"what?" I asked, contorting my face.

"if I don't just like girls, i-it's wrong..." he said lowly.

I shook my head with a sigh, taking a seat next to him on the couch he was on.
