Chapter 16

It's been a week since Echo died and Y/N was already acting like nothing happened. But she wanted to wait a minute before getting on another dragon. Which Hiccup agreed with. Everyone helped around Berk. Rather it be with dragons or watching for enemies coming near.
One day, Y/N was helping Gobber at the shop when a voice she hadn't heard in forever spoke up. "Excuse,but I think-," before he could finish,Dagur was crushed by Y/N hugging him. "Air again Y/N...Air," Dagur said. Y/N laughed and said,"Gobber may I go?" "Sure. I'm good over here," Gobber said. Y/N and Dagur left. While walking, Y/N said,"So,what's new? How's Heather?" Dagur said,"Nothing really. Visiting because I missed..." Dagur took a long pause before saying,"Missed you. Heather is fine." Y/N just nodded. Say something! Y/N thought. "Dagur?" Y/N and Dagur looked up to see Hiccup and Astrid. "Hey guys. Long time no see," Dagur said smiling and waving small. "Hiccup,can I talk to you,"Dagur asked. Hiccup nodded and went to Hiccup's hut to talk. Astrid asked Y/N,"You like him?" Without thinking or realizing what she said Y/N said,"Yes-WAIT!" Astrid laughed and poked Y/N. "You like Dagur! Oh my Thor! You like Dagur," Astrid screamed. "Stop Astrid,"Y/N said blushing. "You Like Dagur," Astrid said. Y/N and Astrid were too busy with each other that they didn't realize Stoick,Y/N's dad behind them. "You what Y/N," he said sternly. Y/N froze and turned around to see her dad. "Ummm...," Y/N said and looked at Astrid who said,"Hi chief. Bye chief and Y/N." Astrid was gone. "Hi dad. How much-," Y/N was cut off by Stoick. "Let's go talk about your "crush" Y/N," he said. Y/N swallowed hard and followed her father to his hut. This isn't going to end well. Y/N thought.
*Hiccup and Dagur POV*
Dagur followed Hiccup to his hut. Dagur wanted to ask Hiccup to date his sister,but he knew it won't be easy. No less it'll be harder with Stoick,their dad. Chief of Berk. His only daughter. Relax. It's only Hiccup. Asking if you can date his younger sister who he'll do anything for...I'm dead. Dagur thought. Once they reached Hiccup's hut, Hiccup opened the door and they walked in and sat down. Toothless was in the corner looking at them. "So what is it you wanted Dagur," Hiccup said resting in the chair. "I...I wanted to....I was wondering...," Dagur kept losing his words. "Just say it Dagur," Hiccup said laughing. Dagur took a Deep breath and said,"IwaswonderingifIcoulddateyoursister." Hiccup looked confused and Toothless tilted his head. "You were wondering what," Hiccup asked confused. "I was wondering if I could date your sister," Dagur said. He looked down and rubbed his neck. Toothless let out a sad growl and flew out the door as if he knew how Hiccup would take it. "Yes,but rules Dagur," Hiccup said sternly. Dagur looked up. "Hurt her,I'll hurt you. Do anything to make her cry,I'll hurt you. Also,you need to talk to our dad. But I protect her no matter what. You need to do that as well. Meaning she better not get taken away again," Hiccup said. "I swear to the Gods I'll protect her," Dagur said. "Very well. Now have fun with our dad," Hiccup said and shake hands.
*Y/N and Stoick POV*
Y/N and Stoick made it to his hut. Once inside they sat down. I don't want to do this. Y/N thought. "Y/N? Do you really like Dagur? If so, then just please be careful. I support it,but I'd like Dagur to talk to me first," Stoick said. Y/N looked shocked. "Ummm....yes dad I like him,but I don't know if he likes me," Y/N said. Stoick nodded and said,"Just make sure Dagur sees me before he heads out." Y/N nodded. She got up hugged her dad and kissed his cheek. "I love you dad," she said before heading out the door.
*Everyone's POV*
Y/N ran to Hiccup's hut. Once there,she knocked. She knocked again. "Hiccup," Y/N yelled. The door open to show Astrid. "Hey Astrid,is Hiccup home," Y/N asked. "Yes,but Dagur went looking for you," Astrid said. "Where," Y/N asked. "Think your hut," Astrid said. Y/N took off to her hut. Once inside,she said,"Dagur? You in here?" Y/N heard upstairs to her room. Once in her room, Dagur was in there by her desk looking at her drawings. Her face went red when he saw the drawing she did of him. "Umm...hi Dagur. I see you found-," Y/N was cut off. "Your drawings? Yes. Also,this one of me. This one of Heather. And question," Dagur said. He held up the drawing of your mom. "Who is she," Dagur asked walking to you. "That's my mom. I asked my dad what she looks like and that's what I got," Y/N said. Dagur walked back to the desk and put it down. "Y/N? Where's your dad I need to talk to him," Dagur said. "Great hall," Y/N said. Dagur nodded. Before leaving,he kissed Y/N on the cheek without warning. Once Dagur was gone,Y/N's face turned thousands shades of red. Did....Does he.....Y/N's head was a roller coaster.
After what seemed like forever,Dagur came back to Y/N's hut. The weird part,the whole gang was behind him. Twins were staring weirdly at you. Snotlout had a look of disappointment. Fishlegs was jumping up and down. Hiccup stood there just looking around. As did her dad. Astrid gave me a huge smile and a thumbs up. I looked at Dagur who stared back with a smile. "Hey Dagur and everyone else. And hi dad. What do you all need,"Y/N leaned on the door frame till Dagur grabbed both her hands. "Y/N,I was wondering if you maybe....I don't know...wanted to go on a date tomorrow," Dagur asked. Y/N's face was red and eyes wide. But with joy she said,"Yes!" And hugged Dagur. Everyone around them laughed and cheered.
Once everyone left,Y/N went to bed and told Dagur to stay in her spare room she had. "Sorry about the drawings on the wall in there. They're all dragons. Just trying to organize them," Y/N said. Dagur laughed and said,"It's fine. Goodnight," he kissed her cheek. She smiled,"Goodnight."
