It was a new day and I had somehow managed to slip out of Taehyung's room undetected, the dude was slumped on top of me the whole night. It was annoying, but I could tell he was knocked out. I guess he didn't get much sleep the night before.
I rub the curve of my neck and shoulder, the area feeling tight as I roll my neck.

I stop walking when I notice Yoongi playing chess by himself, his back facing me. He was out of his room as well...which was rare. I look around for any signs of guards roaming the area; particularly Jimin. I turn my gaze back onto Yoongi, rolling my eyes at the pathetic scene. Deciding to go over to him, I sit down in the empty chair in front of him. His eyes look up at me and he immediately starts freaking out. "y-y/n, what are you doing?"

I arch a brow, "Sitting."

He bites down on his lower lip, eyes beading around the room. "We can't be–"

I wave my hand dismissively, "Yeah, yeah. We can't be seen near each other, because Jimin will freak out and suck his own dick...I see nothing's changed?" He laughs quietly, shaking his head to answer my question.

I notice his thumb rubbing against his four other fingers, a sign of nervousness. His leg bounces up and down underneath the table and his eyes were still looking around, except lowered. "You were–you were gone for so long." He speaks softly, the bruises on his face contrasting against the tone of his voice. He's become so submissive it's almost heartbreaking considering the circumstance.

I nod, "Yeah, I guess I was."

"What happened to you?"

I grab the white knight chess piece and place it up a square. "It's a long story." I admit, looking up at him.

A small smile curves his cracked lips as he knocks out my bishop with his king. "I've got time." I smile back at him, glad to see him happy for now despite the situation he's in.

"I'm gonna get us out of here, Yoongi." His grin falters. He splutters on his words, not believing what I said.

"You–you keep saying that,"

"Yeah, but this time I'm for real, Yoongi."

His dark brows furrow as he shakes his head in disbelief. I lean toward him, placing my hand over his pale one. If I was going to bring Yoongi along I need to know how much he was willing to cooperate with me. "Yoongi, I need to know if you want to go...if you want to leave the institution, leave Jimin behind." He stares at me, his eyes dilating as they become glossy. He questions why I'm saying such a thing. "When you leave you'll get to play the piano again, isn't that what you want? You can visit that old music shop you told me about–"

He shakes his head, hand retracting down to his skinny thighs. "No, no, I'm never going to that...that p-place ever again." I nod, assuring him.

"Okay, okay...but, I need a definite answer. Are you willing to come with me?" He nods once; Hesitantly. Then again. "I need to hear it from you, Yoongi."

"Yes, y-yes. I want to leave–need to leave." His eyebrows crease, trying his best to hold back his tears. "H-How are you going to do it?"

I grin toward him, "I can't tell you now, but trust me. We'll be leaving very soon."

I knock on the door to Taehyung's office, glancing around. It had been an hour since I left Yoongi after our conversation and game of chess. He was still cautious of the whole plan, but promised to not draw any attention like he knew something was going on. Especially when he's alone with Jimin, I can only hope everything works out with him. In the meantime I need to keep Taehyung distracted. I don't know why he left abruptly during yesterday's dinner, but I should keep my eye out for any papers on his desk that catch my eye.
