"This masquerade sucks absolute balls." Jimin spits out, lifting up a glass of scotch imported from Scotland to his chapped lips. Hoseok looks over at the scowling male, rolling his eyes as he grabs a glass from a passing servant; immediately realizing how childish Jimin can get sometimes.

He huffs out a response to Jimin's annoyance, not really paying any mind to his pity party. "Well, maybe if you'd actually involve yourself and mingled with guests or danced with Min you wouldn't be in such a sour mood." Jimin glares at the older male, Hoseok ignoring Jimin as he bores holes into his side. "...Just a thought."

Jimin scoffs. "You can't be kidding me. The only reason we're forced to be here is 'cause that dumb broad faked some made up trauma to get what she wants and Kim being such a fucking softie nowadays is allowing it--" Jimin steps back, fuming before stepping closer to Hoseok. "It's fucking stupid and I'm not about to stick around—"

"Jung."

Both males become alert at the sound of their boss's voice, bodies turning around to greet the brunet as he lumbers toward the two. Taehyung stops in front of them, his gaze landing on Jimin. "Park." He sighs, peering around the ballroom as he lowers his mask. "Why aren't you two out there dancing with someone? This is suppose to be a fun night, I expect you two to enjoy yourselves at my expense."

Hoseok nods, bowing toward his boss and thanking Taehyung for giving them the chance to relax. Jimin doesn't bother to say anything, clutching his fingers around the whiskey glass in his hand as he crosses his arms over his chest. There was nothing to say, despite venting to Hoseok how much he hated this earlier. He wouldn't dare express his thoughts to his boss, at least not in front him; remembering the painful memory of getting a fork stabbed into his hand.

Jimin supposes he got off easy that time. God knows what Taehyung could have done if Jimin was caught speaking poorly of his boss.

Taehyung furrows his brows, noticing something. "Where's Korain?" At the mention of his brothers name, Hoseok's eyes widen and dart over to y/n. Fortunately, he wasn't over there spreading his mischief. He scans the ballroom for a mop of blond hair, finding no trace of Korain anywhere. He tells Taehyung that he'll get Namjoon to look into it along with himself. Taehyung waves him off. "Doesn't matter as long as he's not near y/n. He probably ran off somewhere to fornicate with Jeon." Taehyung purses his lips, the words distasteful against his tongue.

Hoseok nods, folding his hands in front of him. Jimin holds back the tut in the back of his throat. Hoseok was such a suck up to Taehyung and anyone with working eyes could see the bullshit.

Jimin and Taehyung make eye contact. Taehyung asks where Yoongi is. Jimin says 'getting me a drink.' Taehyung challenges his words. "A servant could easily do that."

Jimin grits his teeth. He lets out a shaky sigh, clenching his fist as the corner of his lips curl into a grin. "Min was right there and he...didn't mind."

Taehyung hums in response, looking around for said boy. He holds back the knowing grin once he spots Yoongi at one of the drink tables along with his beloved. Everyone who works for Taehyung knows how Jimin gets with Yoongi and y/n--especially if he sees them around each other. He watches closely; sees how y/n is leaning closer to Yoongi for him to be able to hear her over the crowd of guests laughter and jubilations, how he for once smiles when he's around her, and then they're nodding toward one another.

He doesn't necessarily know what they had been conversing about, but from y/n holding her hand out and him taking it, she's asked him to dance with her; something he overheard Yoongi asking Jimin to do with him. For the sake of his relationship with y/n, he represses his jealously and allows them to enjoy their company with each other for just one dance. She needs the comfort of a friend after what she's been through.
