"A-am I different, Soomi?"

"Huh, what do you mean?" The female looked down at Korain, the little boy wiping the tears that seemed to fall unlimitedlessly. His fingers clenched around the fabric on his shorts.

"They hate m-me 'n Ggukie...Taehyungie calls me a-a sissy 'n beats on Ggukie!" He sobbed, feet dangling as he sat on the cement bench in the garden he had found the maid watering flowers in before breaking down around her leg.

The females gaze softened, her warm hand gently pushing the upset boy against her side. She combed her fingers through his brown locks, trying to soothe him. "Taehyung doesn't hate you, Korain...he just has a hard way of expressing his love towards you, that's all-"

"Y-Yer wrong!" Korain moved back from her embrace, teary gaze meeting hers. He frowned, lips trembling. "He s-says it 'emself. He doesn't like me be-be...because I like boys!" He shouted, catching the maid off guard. Her eyes widened, not expecting the 14-year-old to comprehend the way he felt toward the same-gender.

She swallowed, blinking. The lack of response from the older made Korain cry even more. "'N now y-yous hate me too!"

She sighed in defeat, smiling at the boy who jumped to conclusions way too fast. She flicked him on his forehead, cursing at him in a playful manner. "I would never hate you for being you, you big cry baby." Korain winced, hand coming up to rub the reddening skin. "Prove to Taehyung that you're not someone to be reckoned with. Do that for me, Korain, okay?"

Korain's doe eyes locked onto the soft smile on the females face, the sincerity in her voice, the underlying message in her words. His mouth hung open in awe, nodding wordlessly to her request. Soomi was like a big sister to him, maybe even a mother figure. He always went to her when he was feeling down, knowing she would find a way to cheer him up.

"I-I promise, I won't let yous down!" Korain threw himself at Soomi, hugging her tightly. She giggled, finding his action adorable.

They were in their own little bubble, unaware of the jealous glare above them.

Taehyung watched the two from his bedroom window, anger and envy boiling inside him when he saw the grins plastered on both of their faces. Jimin, the sidekick going along with whatever Taehyung did, stood beside him. He watched the scene unfold, a frown grimacing his chubby cheeks. "Why's Soomi allowin' that queer to hug her?"

"Oh, shut the fuck up, Diminie. I see the way yous stare at Namjoon Hyung when we get undressed, yer not foolin' anyone." Taehyung snapped, rolling his eyes. Jimin gulped, hands fiddling in front of him as he tried to play it off like his feelings weren't just hurt, wanting to correct Taehyung.

His brother always did this; finds a way to take everything that Taehyung had from him. The burning male slammed his fist against the window frame, aggravated at the way Soomi held Korain in her arms.

That should be Taehyung, not his twin brother.

Taehyung stepped back from the open window, using all his willpower to let it go for now. He had to find a way to get her away from Korain forever and he will do whatever it took to make it happen, even if it meant brutally and underhandedly.

"So, what're we gonna do, tie 'em up 'n throw 'em off a bridge?" Jimin suggested, staring out the window.

Taehyung smirked eerily, figuring out a plan very quickly. "No, we're gonna take er'thing he loves away from 'em 'n I think I know just how."

"Kim fucking Taehyung."

Korain shouts as he barges through the doors to his brothers study. The brunet in question doesn't even spare the other a glance, eyes remaining on a painting hanging on the wall as his backside rests on the edge of his mahogany desk. He has a glass of wine in his grasp, his arm tucked under his chest as he admires the work of art framed in a rich tan casing.
