"What?"

Yoongi says, body turning more toward her. She nods, a slight smile forming at her lips. "Yeah, well—he was kinda vague, but what I managed to gather from him is that Kim has these like alter egos in his head to help him process trauma while also keeping him from experiencing loneliness and sometimes he blocks them out when he's going through what I presume is what they call 'episodes'." Yoongi stares at the woman bewildered as she continues her rant about Mr. Kim's fears. "He also called me someone else's name—Soomi—I was looking through his stuff and found out she was some ex-lover who really rocked his shit with her absence. Hence, fear of loneliness. She also looks a lot like me, which explain so much—"

Yoongi holds his hand up to stop her from continuing, still trying to process everything. She wasn't making any sense to him, what does her knowing all of this have to do with them?

Her arms, raised as she was explaining her findings, lower at Yoongi's words. She peers toward him, brows furrowing. "I'm doing all this to help us..." She looks around, leaning closer as she whispers. "get out of here."

The realization finally hits the bruised man. "Oh...right, I forgot about that." She questions how he could possibly forget the one thing anyone here wants. He scratches the back of his neck, leaning away. He takes a deep breath. Evangeline could tell from his body language alone what his next words would be. "It sounds like a good idea on paper...but, executing it...don't you think we're getting too ahead of ourselves?"

He tries to say it as lightly as he can, catching the fiery ambition in her eyes that he's trying to diffuse before she burns herself. She doesn't want to hear it, the path that she started trailing on could lead her—the both of them, out of this place. But, she knows she can't do it alone. There has to be a way to convince Yoongi from backing out before they even begin.

"Will you just hear out my plan before you shoot it down, please?" He sighs and caves in, rubbing his hands against his thighs. "Because I look so much like that Soomi woman, I'll manipulate him into doing what I want. He'll get comfortable enough where he'll give me more freedom, not suspecting anything. Then, I'll slip out of here when no one's around to stop me."

"What if he finds out your true intentions?"

That was a good question, that she already has the answer to. "When you're in love, your blind to everything else around you."

Yoongi agrees with a nod, but then speaks again. "How do you know that...Soomi woman...and him didn't end on bad terms? What if he's grown such an obsessive attachment over you that he'll keep eyes on you at all times?"

She frowns, "Okay, I didn't think of that. I still have information to gather on her—this is only the beginning—but see, this is why I need you, Min!"

His lips purse, still somewhat defiant with his decision. "You're a devious person..." He mutters out a second later, replaying her plan back inside his head. She grins, hoping that means he has at least a foot on board. His demeanor shifts again. "You remember that time when Park pulled me away in the Cafeteria. The first time we met? He took out his anger on me like he said he would...he was crueler, but I think it was because he had you in mind when he was hurting me." There's an undertone behind his words; a double entendre that she catches. He's scared of that happening again and she doesn't blame him. "He was close to breaking my arm."

He glances her way. He was hoping his words would shed some light on Evangeline, that she doesn't move recklessly causing Yoongi to take all the flack. His hand comes up to caress his left arm, a phantom feeling striking his nerves. He still remembers vividly the hatred consumed in his eyes. Almost as if he didn't see Yoongi, rather Evangeline he was harming. It's one of the reasons he's so reluctant on continuing with this scheme. Park got whiff of something going on between the two patients and immediately took it to an extreme.
