The King's Curse

Introduction

I was sitting in my room reading through a book that I was recently gifted when I heard my roommate talking to someone in the lounge of our sheared apartment. "She's not here anyway." I heard her say. 

I was reaching my hand to turn the round silver door handle when I heard a familiar voice. "Are you sure?". I knew who it was. That voice was unmistakable. I heard it a million times, when it said I love you. That voice belonged to my boyfriend.

I ripped the door open, my heart hammered in my chest and my blood boiling. I swore I could see red. My skin felt hot my mind in a frenzy and my scences where dull. 

There I saw them on the couch that I bought. Wrapped in each other arms warmly but there heads snapped in my direction and when I was in their view they sprung apart like two cats who just had water poured on them.

Generic excuses began to spill out of their mouths but I did not stay to watch the theatrics nor to listen to the lies.

I charged out of the apartment and began to walk.

I don't know where I was gonna but I kept walking.

I was resting in my coffin awaiting the sun to set waiting for the right moment to go hunting.

That was when I smelled it. That sweet aroma. An aphrodisiac. A hypnosis befalling me summonings me towards it but I could not the sun bearly touching the horizon I knew I could not leave my confinements for I was not strong enough to fight the judgement of the sun.

That moon had began to show it's face when I got up from my coffin but when I smelled the air the scent was gone.
