Lara's pov"Camila she doesn't drink human blood. Stop trying to feed it to her." I heard a soft voice say in a whisper.
"Elizabeth she could like both." I heard another say in a slightly higher volume.
I opened my eyes to see two women in front of me. I looked closer and I could see that they were the same vampires I met in front of the castle.
"Hi!" Said the brunette one with bright red eyes. " I'm Elizabeth!" She said brightly. "And she is Camila!" She said now looking at the dark haired woman next to her. "Adonis sent to come say hi in our way home but we found an empty house with a bit of blood so we followed it and then we heard a scream and then we found you and then we brought you home with us and then-" she was abruptly interrupted "And then Elizabeth was quiet for a few moments and actually paid attention to her patient." Said Camila noticing that I was trying to sit up.
As Elizabeth helped me up I began regaining most of my bodily functions.
"Where are we?". I asked.
"Embotyi." Camila said in a flat tone.
I remember that thing town was less of a town and more of a forest. There are winding roads with trees growing over them to create this haunting archway.
I looked down to see that my outfit had changed from my black jeans and purple sweater to a black silk dress.
"It's Camila's old dress." Elizabeth said. "My clothes were too small and Camila's new clothes were too big" she added smirking at the other vampire who sighed. "Because she got too big." Elizabeth said giggling. Camila rolled her eyes at first then chuckled. "What can I say I am very happy." Camila said now love loving into Elizabeth's eyes.
In that momentary interaction between the couple I took in their appearances.
Camila had very pale white skin. Her skin resembled snow, it looked icy. Her eyes were a dark shade of red, almost black, and were shaped with a unnatural sharpness akin to that of a fox. Her tall and slender stature was very regal and elegant. Even her manner of walking was that of nobility. The was that she spoke was in a low sultry yet sharp tone.
Elizabeth was equally beautiful. Her beautiful brown skin seemed to glow like gold. Her bright red eyes popped through her features in the most adorable way. Her short stature was beautifully accompanied by her plump yet slim body. Like she had drank from the fountain of youth her face was round and plump. Her eyes were also round and cute forming a crescent whenever she would smile, which seems to be often.
The couple then turned to me.
It was quiet for a while before I asked a question that had been burning on my mind.
"Aren't you afraid I might feed on you?" I asked.
There was more silence.
"No. Because I will rip your heart out before you even get the chance." Camila said as she slowly stalked towards me.
"Oookaaay let's calm down." Elizabeth said as she placed her hand gently into Camila's shoulder.
The tension in the room subsided. It was not completely gone but it was tolerable.
"Dearest don't you have a gift you haven't wrapped yet." Elizabeth said as she gently took holy of Camila's chin turned her face towards her. "The wrapping is in a box in the lounge." She said.
Camila glared at me warningly before leaving the room.
"Gift?" I asked.
"Oh! Yes, the Duke suddenly sent out invites for his wedding." Elizabeth said.
"A Duke?" I asked.
"Yeah, he like took over a disbanded coven that was once under a Duke and Duchess like 20 or something years ago." She said now handing me a cup of something. "A bit of raspberry tea and blood." She said.
"Raspberry tea." I said skeptically.
"Mhm. It's like so good at helping heal wounds in vampires for some odd reason and the blood helps with the blandness of human food." She said before pouring herself a cup too.
" Are you also hurt?" I asked examining her.
" Not really I just want to try some." She said giggling.
"Why did Adonis send you?" I finally asked.
" Well we are the only 'coven' station here in south Africa currently. Well besides the mystery duke guy who came out of nowhere like two months ago. Along with the fact that he has a big old vampy crush on you." She said before cackling.
" What!" I exclaimed.
"Uh-huh!" She said now giggling.
"That doesn't make sense, I have tried to kill him like twice and I was a weapon used against him by his enemies. What is there to like?" I said confused.
"Well maybe he likes it. Maybe that's his kink" she whispered.
We looked at each other and like a telepathy message of 'really now' passed between us before we burst out laughing.
Camila walked back into the room again. She looked at me with an icy gaze but it turned warm when she looked at Elizabeth.
"I can hear you two from across the house." She said. Elizabeth only giggled in response.
"By the way I have been meaning to ask what happened last night?" Camila asked. Elizabeth stopped giggling and whipped around to look at her. There was tension in the room again.
"Well if you must know Camila my mother said she is not my mother and my father put a stake through my heart. Would you like more details." I said with anger.
"No we don't, Camila was just a bit curious but she isn't anymore." Elizabeth said still looking at her now sending daggers to her.
" I'm still curious. Who's your real mom." Camila asked with the same cold tone.
"Camila." Elizabeth said with a firm tone.
They both glared at each other for a while.
I threw my mother's necklace, which I had somehow kept with me through all of that chaos, in to the floor near Camila.
"You didn't have to throw it." She said picking it up.
Camila opened the pendent and then froze. She didn't move. For about a minute. Elizabeth who was glaring at her was growing concerned and had flashed her way to her side. This jolted Camila out of her trance. There were red tears building up in her eyes.
"Why haven't I seen it before." She whispered now looking at me. She looked at me as if she was looking at a long lost child. It was vastly different from her cold glares.
"Your Lilith." She said in a whisper.
"Lilith as in missing miracle baby Lily?" Elizabeth asked.
I was quiet and so was Camila.
"Holy shit! Things are about to get so interesting for me. I knew I should have saved you." Elizabeth said as she flashed to me and held me in a light embrace.
"The tea is cold let me go and warm it up." Elizabeth said in a sing-sing manner.
