In the stress and confusion of school and training, you were a timid young soul. However, in the nightlife of Japan, you thrived. Before joining the prestigious hero school, you had been enlisted as a bartender in a well-known club in the area. Since it was against school regulations, it was the perfect location. Many people came and went, but it was not exactly somewhere an aspiring hero would choose to make an appearance. Besides, there was an age restriction, due to the wild drinking and dangerous fights that would sometimes break out. The only reason you were allocated the post to begin with was because your family had ties to the owners; they agreed to turn a blind eye to having an underage student working behind the bar. You were taught all the necessary skills, and became friendly with the regulars in a matter of days. Still, something always stabbed at the deepest recesses of your mind - what would the Class President say about your 'illicit' activities? The more you considered this, the further the guilt rose, until it seemed to be billowing out of you like chimney smoke.
The robust male may be strict and studious (extremely so), but he also possessed something of a second-side - a gentle one. In spite of his sturdy form, powerful voice and amusing mannerisms, he was an absolute darling. You fell for him as easily as a feather floats in the delicate breeze. Those square-glasses that appeared fused to his face, complimenting his eyes to a frightening extent, his cobalt-covered hair - everything. He was the embodiment of your perfect man, and you wished so desperately to be wrapped up in his arms. Of course, if you ever accidentally exposed your clandestine business, then perhaps he would never favour you so. You were determined not to let this happen. He couldn't know, because if he did, it might ruin everything. Recently, you had been making some semblance of progress, throwing yourself into the midst of his conversations, while retaining the title of 'that shy girl'.
"(Y/n), you're free to go now. I'll be going past your house anyway, so I'll drop you off." Your boss called, as you felt a shiver of relief crawl down your spine - you wouldn't last much longer, thoughts consumed by a single boy.
You might shatter a glass.
Besides, you had to stay as composed as possible, for as long as possible. If you didn't, then the study session (you liked to think of it as a date) he had proposed tomorrow afternoon would be very awkward indeed. It was set for immediately after school ended. You were far from stupid, but Iida wanted to ensure you encountered the most accurate information, that you could then bleed on to paper. The tests were inevitable, and you recognised Iida's excitement by the sparkles within his eyes. You thought it astonishingly adorable. He also seemed rather...elated, when you agreed to his proposition. That sterling smile, extremely wide and toothy, coaxed the sides of your lips upwards. The happiness, for lack of a better word, was infectious. His smiles weren't usually so prominent, so it both shocked and amazed you. Just harkening back to that moment made you shiver. Tomorrow afternoon couldn't come soon enough - if only you had some sort of time-manipulation quirk. Instead, you were stuck with something slightly more destructive.
Meanwhile, the boy under discussion was propped up at his desk, reading through that day's notes. He was experiencing some difficulty, however, as all he could actually think about was you - the grin that had so perfectly mirrored his, the crimson eyes which held a deep-set excitement for the day to come, and that shoulder-length hair, baby blue and a little rugged. In a way, you were complete and total opposites, one straight and one messy. His heart always insisted on beating ninety-miles-per-hour whenever you came into contact with each other, and it often appeared to threaten his very life. Honestly, if it didn't plan of slowing down at any point in the immediate future, then he was certain he would become the victim of a fatal heart attack. That would be a sorry way for an aspiring hero's school career to end. Although this was a dreadful thought, his whole being was gradually becoming giddier and giddier (not that you would be able to tell, with his monotone façade).
