Lilith's POV
I sighed and turned towards Sigrid and Tilda
"I'm so sorry about this , thankyou for everything"
I then turned and followed the dwarfs towards what looked like a armoury . My attention then turned towards Kili who then fell down the stairs all the weapons he was carrying making clattering noises . Guards must have heard as they all came and took us to the master of lake town .
It didn't take long for Thorin to stand up and make himself known
"I am Thorin Oakensheild , the rightful king under the mountain , and I am here to take back my home from the dragon Smaug and will give you all a fair share of the gold that you all deserve "
The crowd began to cheer but was interupted
"you cannot let this man and his kin go to the mountain if they wake the dragon it's wrath will be led upon laketown"
The master of Laketown who clearly had a hatred for Bard replied with
"and this is coming from the mans who ancestors shot arrow after arrow at the dragon and all attempts failed to kill it"
I looked at Bard and felt bad for him as his family had been put to shame and in my sudden urge to protect Bard I unintentionally shouted out
"I mean no offence master of laketown but at least Bards ancestors tried , I bet that's more than you or your ancestors did"
The master glared towards me but insulted Bard no further . I then turned my attention to Bard who was staring at me and nodded thankfully .
The master then got a boat for Thorin for The dwarves and Bilbo and I to get in . I felt a pit in my stomach about leaving but had no idea why . However my thoughts went to the back of my head when Thorin said to Kili
"Kili you're not coming with us you need to heal then join us when your well"
Kili's smile fell and he tried to claim he wouldn't slow them down but failed In the process . Fili then got out of the boat and said
"sorry Thorin but I can't leave my brother"
Then another dwarf who I hadn't learnt the name of yet said
"my duty is with the wounded"
And he too jumped out of the boat . I felt sorry for Kili so I too jumped out of the boat whilst saying
"as is mine , good luck Thorin king under the mountain"
Thorin nodded at me then him , Bilbo and the remaining dwarfs sailed towards the mountain .
