Lilith's POV

I began tending to the wounded the best I could which wasn't that great but better than nothing right ?

I felt someone watching me I turned around to see Bard

"Lilith you have done enough there's nothing else you can do"

"I guess I just want to keep busy"

"What was my daughter saying to you earlier?"

I felt my cheeks tinge red

"nothing"

"that's a lie you're blushing"

"shut up Bard"

"Lilith ?"

"Yes Bard"

"I just wanted to tell you —"

He was then cut of when a few of the people of laketown was curiously looking at something that was happening where Alfred was meant to be on look out .

Bard sighed and walked towards the direction of where Alfred was meant to be .I followed him out of curiousity .I then heard alfrid say

"nothing gets past me sire"

I looked forward to see a army of Mirkwood elves , I then heard Bard mutter

"nothing gets past you Alfred nothing but a army of elves"

I caught up with Bard

"they are Mirkwood elves , looks like you will be meeting my father"

I looked at the ground guilitly wondering how annoyed my father would be that I left Mirkwood .

The elves made a pathway for Bard and I as I followed him down the pathway to a rather large tent which I presumed belonged to my father . Then right infront of me I saw the one and only king thranduil also known as dad or father by me and Legolas .

"hello father"

"Lilith?"

"That's me"

"why are you with the people of laketown?"

"I'm helping them"

I couldn't help but ask myself if that was the actual reason though or was there another reason I was staying here .

My father nodded with his Stone cold expression as usual . I noticed the laketown people gathering food and drinks of a waggon which my father must've brought for them as part of a bargain which he was yet to make . I then heard Bard say to my Father

"I don't know how I can thank you"

I raised my eyebrows knowing my father would want something in return . My Father and Bard then began talking about the dwarves and a necklace that I knew belonged to my Mother whom I had never got the chance to meet and Thorin had also promised laketown gold .

"I will talk to them"
Bard said .
