Lilith's POV
Bard then rode towards the mountain . I sat down awkwardly waiting for my father to say something .
"Lilith why did you leave Mirkwood"
"I needed adventure"
My Father nodded however his face remained monotone as usual
"the bargeman , what is he to you?"
"Do you mean Bard?"
My Father nodded"in all honesty I don't know"
I continuedBard later returned saying Thorin wouldn't accept the deal , which I didn't understand I never took him as a selfish man .
"we fight at dawn"
my Father said , Bard nodded .I was about to protest but then a old man arrived along with Bilbo
"Bilbo?"
I asked"hi Lilith"
My father then interupted
"Bilbo as in the hobbit that sneaked into my dungeons and freed all the dwarves?"
"Yeesh sorry about that"
I tried not to chuckle and I could tell Bard was also trying not to chuckle , where as my father just had a 'seriously' look on his face . Bilbo then said
"I have something you might want"
He then pulled out a white pearly crystal
"the Arken stone"
"yes Thorin desires it , he might trade that necklace you want for it"
I shrugged that plan sounds better than war .
