Luke
I thought he pushed me away because I started to screw him. But I also shared that same thought as he bought it up; I don't think I was ready for everyone's shameful looks. But I never knew Nick turned me on in that way. The way that makes me shiver, but not even to the goosebumps point. The point where I have to tug my jeans further down my crotch so nobody suspects.
I had that same feeling as a Nick whispered "I love you" in my ear, and even the hairs in the back of my neck stood up. I sighed, and that was all I could think about as I fell asleep. I heard Nick fall asleep, his breath tickling the nape of my neck. I was leant against the wood barrier, my right shoulder leant away from Nick, He too was in the same position, but more a poorly manner. I felt his hands wrap around my waist.
...
I woke up to Rebecca stirring awake, coughing. I woke up too, groggily catching her pleased expression when she saw us.
"Oh Luke..." She muttered, her scratchy voice making me shudder. "You two..."
I sat up, Nick slumping down on the ground in surprise.
"Uh, that was nothin'." I said, and Rebecca laughed.
"You don't need to pretend to me." Rebecca said. She spluttered, and coughed, and I worried about her.
"Are you...okay?" I ask her. Rebecca sighed.
"Honestly, I'm not gonna lie. This cold is getting the better of us." Rebecca said. "I'm..I'm scared."
I looked over at Kenny, who was still asleep with the quiet baby.
"Don't be. We'll look after you and him." I said.
"Thank you." Rebecca smiled.
Nick sat up, and grinned at me.
"Nick." Rebecca smirked, and pointed to his shirt. "Your shirt is inside out...and backwards."
Nick looked down, and his inside out shirt produced the tag at the front of his neck. Probably since we got dressed in the dark last night.
"Oh." He said.
"Yeah. Wasn't like that before we went to bed last night." Rebecca laughed, Clementine yawning beside her. Nick laughed nervously.
"Ill uh, go downstairs and change it the right way..." Nick said, red faced, and stood up, walking away as fast as possible. Rebecca and I laughed after him.
"What's going on?" Clem asked.
"Nothing." Rebecca and I said at the same time. Clementine looked unconvinced, yet she laid her head against Rebecca's shoulder, and fell asleep.

The next day
Nick
We kept trudging through the fresh snow, Clementine and Mike in front of me. The leather jacket I wore was more protective than I thought, yet I pulled the sleeve past my fingertips to keep me warm. Luke was ahead too, yet he showed no signs of the cold getting to him, his rifle in front of him for any danger. The wind carried fresh flurries down as Bonnie help Rebecca and the child upright. Rebecca slumped to her knees, the baby asleep in her arms as Bonnie held her.
"You alright?" She asked Rebecca.
"She's exhausted." Luke said. "We all are."
Luke looked over at Kenny.
"I can keep going..." Rebecca said, and Bonnie helped her up. I went to the other side of Rebecca, slinging my arm underneath her shoulder to hold her up more. And with that we continued to walk forward.
"We shoulda left right away, instead of waitin' around. We could of found more food, and been somewhere warm days ago." Kenny complained.
"We did the right thing. Rebecca was in no condition to move." Luke defended himself.
"She's worse now!" Kenny snapped.
"We could still turn back." Luke said.
"That's not and option." Kenny spoke. "Everybody hang in there! We gotta keep moving if we wanna make it to that town by nightfall."
"You don't even listen to anyone else. You just go on barking orders!" Luke complained. "You gotta lighten up. You're pushing them too hard."
"You're not helping anything by arguing." Clementine said.
"Well, don't forget, you agreed me about waitin' to leave camp until today." Luke said, looking back at Clem.
"Just shut the fuck up!" I hiss. With that, I felt Rebecca fall to the ground, Bonnie and I going with her.
"Oh!" Bonnie exclaimed, and the baby started crying again. Mike walked to the side, and pointed to an old tire.
"Here's a pace to sit." He said. I lifted Rebecca up, and moved her to the tire, setting her down gently.
"Rebecca, let me take the baby." Kenny said, and reached over.
"He's okay." Rebecca sighed. "I got him."
"No, you rest for a minute. I got him." Kenny insisted.
"Back off, Kenny. She said she doesn't want you to take the baby. Don't be weird about it, okay?" Luke said.
"I ain't being weird!" Kenny argued, and Rebecca starting shushing her baby.
"Just leave it, Luke." I said, and Luke frowned at me.
"Hey, hey, listen to your boyfriend." Kenny said. I charged forward.
"Say that again, you dick!" I yelled, and Bonnie pushed me back. "God, just fuck off!"
"Nick, calm down!" Luke said.
"No! Stop creating issues!" I said, and crossed my arms. I bit my lip to hold back my anger. If anyone forgot, Carver said the exact same thing. I wasn't about to be calm for a second time.
"Kenny knows what he's doing." Clem spoke up. "He's been a dad before."
"That's not the part I was concerned about." Luke crossed his arms too.
"Hello?!" Came voice behind us.
We all turned around to see a thin boy, limping right towards us.
"What is this?" Mike asked.
"Arvo?" Clementine squinted at the figure.
"Arvo?" Bonnie asked Clem.
"Jane and I met him at the observation deck. Before everyone else came." She said, as the boy kept walking toward us.
"That's the guy?" Luke asked Clem.
"You know this sonuvabitch? What's he want?" Kenny asked Clementine.
"He doesn't look like much." Bonnie stated.
"He has a sick sister. They might be in trouble." Clementine informed.
"Huh. Alright." Luke said, and moved forward. We all followed.
"Hello, your name is Clementine, yes?" Arvo asked Clem, his voice rough with a Russian accent.
"Hi, Arvo." Clementine said, nervous.
"These are your friends?" He asked. "I am hoping you can help me now, not like before. All of you can help."
"What do you need? How can we help?" Clem asked.
"I need a...things for--bandages. I need bandages." Arvo stuttered.
"Are you hurt?" Bonnie asked him.
"No." Arvo said, and looked down.
At that moment, people hiding in the trees on the left of us, armed, stood up, aiming their weapons at us, an speaking in their unfamiliar language.
"Fuck!" Luke exclaimed. I groaned. I didn't have a gun, I couldn't defend myself. They surrounded us, and started to speak. One of the more burly men laughed.
"We don't want any trouble." Clementine assured Arvo.
"I told them you were the ones who robbed me." Arvo said. "They think it's funny that you're just a little girl..."
"'Robbed?'" Kenny repeated.
"...and they want you and your friends to out down the guns, so we can take your things." Arvo translated.
"Jane stole, not me!" Clementine defended.
Oh god. That bitch is gonna get us killed in the long run.
"Jane? Where is the other woman?" Arvo said, searching through our group individually. "I am sorry, Clementine, but we are not here to take deals."
Luke raised his gun at Arvo, the woman beside Arvo raising hers at Luke. Soon everyone started raising their weapons at everyone. I raised my hands up, and stood beside Clementine, who had her hand gun in her pocket. If she reached for it, everyone will set off.
"This can be easy for you." Arvo said. "All of you. Just put your guns down. This will be fine."
"Please. Tell them not to shoot." Clementine pleaded. They continued to speak outside of English. Luke, Kenny and Mike started to carry smack words to the ones holding the gun to them, wanting to not excite anyone to shoot.
"I will not let them touch that baby." Kenny said, determined. At that, the baby started to whimper.
"You have a baby with you?" Arvo asked. Arvo wanted his fiends, and they started to negotiate.
"Yeah, so back the fuck up!" Kenny yelled.
Everyone was yelling then, the words mixing together like white noise. Clementine around, and I did too, and we saw Rebecca.
She was turned, the flesh surrounded her eyes and mouth a dark grey than the rest, her eyes flashed white. She had just died, and she was stirred, moving weakly, the baby now crying in her arms. I took a shallow breath, and Clementine slowly reached into her backpocket, and bought out her gun. I watched in horror as she shot Rebecca dead, the bullet implying her head.
"No!" Luke yelled.
And then there were gunshots.
