"The only answer is to use my lucky charm," Ladybug said aloud as they ran from the akuma. "But I never use it this early. I don't know if it will work"

Having no other choice, Ladybug reached for her waist. When her fingers didn't feel anything, she groaned. The akuma had her yo-yo. She groaned and dug the heel of her palm into her forehead.

"Now what?" Chat asked, crouching with his elbows resting on his knees.

Ladybug squeezed her eyes closed as a faint memory tugged at the back of her head. It flooded back with a rush of color.

"Marinette. There's something important that you should know" Tikki admitted floating over the fashion designers shoulder.

"What is it Tik?" Marinette asked, pausing slightly to look at her friend.

"If you ever lose your yo-yo in battle, there is something you can do for a lucky charm" The red kwami stated, sitting on the desk in front of her holder.

Marinette tilted her head to the side and rested her pencil on the desk.

"Really? How?"

Tikki hesitated for a moment before sighing.

"It's complicated and you should only use it as a last resort. It's even more draining to me than the normal way to use it" Tikki squinted her eyes for a moment.

"Okay, Marinette. I can only say it once, I'm hardly allowed to tell you in the first place"

"What are you doing?" Chat questioned when Ladybug turned to him, stomping her feet so they were shoulder length apart.

"Just come here" The bluenette rolled her eyes.

Chat Noir pressed his lips together. He wasn't sure how much he wanted to, arguing or not, he did trust her. He jumped down from his spot and mimicked her actions.

Their hands were clasped together between them as they stared each other in the eyes.

"We have to do this in sync" Ladybug told him, bringing her right foot forward and he did the same.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" They lifted there combined hands into the air and a swirl of ladybugs flew above them.

They disappeared and the object fell. The two heroes let go of each other and the object landed in her hand.

"It's a bird" Chat noted, pinching his nose.

"What gave it away? Was it the feet?" Ladybug replied sarcastically. She rolled her eyes as it sat down in her hand.

The bluenette tuned out Chat Noir's response as she lifted her blue eyes to scan the area around her. What could a bird possibly do to help them?

Her eyes landed on the chalk than a nearby garbage can. An idea sprung into her head and she turned looked down at the bird.

"Hello, Mr. Pigeon" she cooed, using two fingers to stroke its head. "I need you to get something, okay?"

"What do you think it's going to do? Talkback?" The black cat grunted after he sneezed.

"I completely trust Tikki, Chat. I think you should too." Ladybug gave him a pointed glare in which he only returned.

Without warning, the red and black polka dotted bird flew up in the air.

"Quick!" Ladybug cried out, running over to the two metal garbage cans. "Make as much as noise as possible! She can't hear everything at once!"

The young heroine began to bang the metal lids together. Chat's cat eyes looked around him. He couldn't find anything useful so he used his last resort.
