Chapter 1 ~ THE SHATTERED ANGEL

Mangalore

Nandini's Room :

In a small room, a girl was sitting gazing at stars silently. A room which is always full of darkness. A room where not an inch of light could ever enter. A room devoid with colors. The darkness of her past. The darkness of her life which never left her. Its been 6 months to that dreadful night which took away everything from her. Her happiness, her smile, her life, her reason to live. Although it's been 6 months but that night never stopped scaring her not even in her dreams. Every day she gets nightmares whenever she tried to sleep and now she was used to it. Habitual of being scared. Habitual of gazing at stars all night from her room's balcony. A girl who was once afraid of darkness now stays in that darkness. That darkness is her place now. She was chaos entwined with a tornado who wasn't scared of anything. And yes this was NANDINI

This was like a daily routine for her. She was busy gazing at stars just then her Priyu dii entered. Seeing her like this broke her every time. Priya always wished to take her out from that darkness but she failed. But she always stayed strong in front of Nandini she has to because her little Princess needed her Priyu dii. She wiped the drop of tear and called Nandu

'Nandu what are you doing I'm calling you since so long'

Hearing this Nandu instantly looked at her and asked

'What happened Priyu Di?'

'What happened kya see Arjun has come to meet you. We are leaving tomorrow won't you spend some time with him?'

Hearing this Nandu smiled faintly and asked her to send Arjun inside to which Priya nodded and left.

Coming outside she sent Arjun to Nandini.

As Arjun entered Nandini crashed into his arms and held him tightly to which Arjun stumbled a little and smiled and asked her.

'Baby what happened? Missing me already.'

And held her tightly caressing her hairs

To which Nandini just nodded and said

'I will miss you Arjun. You won't forget me, right? I love you Arjun if you'll ever leave me I'll die. Please never do that promise me'

Hearing her sweet confession Arjun smiled and promised her that he will never leave her and kissed on her forehead. Nandini again hugged him and closed her eyes.

Breaking the hug Arjun made Nandini sit down. And
instantly Nandini asked

'When will you come to Mumbai.? You know right I can't come here and stay alone.'

To which Arjun nodded smilingly and caressed her cheeks with his thumb and said softly

I'll be there with you very soon. You just take care of yourself don't be careless for your health okay?'

To which Nandini nodded but kept mum. And a few moments later she asked

'Where is Anisha?'

'She is on her way she will be here very soon'

As soon as Arjun finished speaking and there was Anisha on the door smirking

'So someone is all set to leave us and go right'

And faked a frown to make her best friend smile.

Hearing her Nandini smiled a little shaking her head and hugged her saying

'Anu stop that drama okay'

'Yes yes why not, boyfriend bole toh I love you baby and best friend bole toh stop that drama. Huh?'
