Chapter 11

-2 years later-

-Jeff's POV-

I wake up pretty early this morning. I kiss Paisley's cheek gently and get up trying not to wake her.

I put on my maroon Champion hoodie, black joggers, and black Vans.

I walk out of our bedroom and go to Hailey's room. I see her playing with some toys in her room and smile.

"Good morning princess." I say kissing her head.

"Good morning daddy." She says hugging me.

"Let's get you ready." I say picking her up.

I put her in a pink hoodie, black shorts, and black Vans. When I finish, I pick her up and take her to the dining room and put her in her highchair.

"What do you want princess?" I ask Hailey.

"Waffles and fruit!" She exclaims.

I nod my head and make some waffle batter. While the waffles are cooking, I cut up some fruit and put it on a plate. I grab a waffle and cut into half and put it on the plate. I put some fruit on top of it and then cut it up for Hailey.

Hailey picks up a piece of her waffle and eats while grinning at me.

"Thank you daddy." She says.

"No problem princess." I say.

I hear footsteps coming down the hallway and into the kitchen. I turn around and see Paisley there with a blanket covering her head. I laugh quietly as she walks up to me.

"Good morning Pay." I say wrapping my arms around her.

I kiss the top of her head before letting her go sit down. I hand her a plate with a waffle and fruit on it and then sit down to eat my food.

"How did you sleep?" I ask.

"Good. However, I got sick around 5 this morning." She mumbles.

"Do you feel okay?" I ask.

She nods her head and I give her a confused look.

"Daddy, I done." Hailey says.

I take her plate and put it in the sink. I go back to eating my food and soon finish. I take Paisley's plate and mine and put them in the sink.

I clean all of the dishes and go sit on the couch next to Paisley who had Hailey on her lap.

I turn on the TV and put on Hailey's favorite movie which is The Little Mermaid.

Nerf ends up laying down on the floor in front of us and Hailey lays down next to him still watching the movie.

When the movie finishes Hailey stands up and comes up to me.

"Daddy, can we go to the park?" She asks.

I nod my head and we go get in the car.

-Paisley's POV-

I decided to stay home and relax.

I call Ellie as I sit there.

-phone call-

E: what's up Paisley

P: I think I'm pregnant. I didn't tell Jeff about it, but I've been having morning sickness since the day after we got back from Puerto Rico.

E: I'll be over soon with a pregnancy test

P: okay. See you soon.

E: k, bye.
