There were about two days left of school before the college would be closed in observance of spring break. Classes for me have been normal for this part of the semester. There were times that made it hard for me to concentrate, like in my music class with Rem when he tries to distract me playfully when we're doing an assignment or our professor is explaining something. He would try to tickle me or stare at me suggestively and I almost had to kick him sometimes to get him to stop. When the class was over, I'd take my revenge on him by dragging him in an empty supply closet and kissing him passionately and then playfully hit him. He'd laugh when I smacked him but he'd always apologize and pay me back by singing for me.

When it was the last day before spring break, Delilah asked us all to meet her in the music hall after classes. When Emerson asked why, she said it was a secret and we'd have to go to find out what it is. I was suspicious of what she wanted, but I couldn't disappoint her. When all our classes were finished for the day, we met up in the center of the music hall where it almost too quiet even when no one else was here before. We waited for about a minute and then I spotted Del walking on the stage and facing all of us. She had a funny look on her face that made me believe she was hiding something. "Del", Nina started speaking, "what's going on? Why did you asking for all of us to meet here?" Del started smiling like she was crazy and then I had it up to here. "Do you guys have any plans for Spring Break?", she asked us all. We all shook our heads no, and then her smile transformed into a wide grin.

"Well, good. Because I've booked us all and a few more friends to spend Spring Break in California next week!!!" I almost passed out out of shock of what I just heard Delilah declare. Nina gasped loudly and the boys were just speechless. "Can you say that again, Del?", Remington asked in a surprised tone. Del nodded while explaining again, " Yes, its true. I've book a week-long stay for us in a hotel near a beautiful beach to spend our break from school and relax. I'm also inviting Seb, Z, Austin, and Luis, if they'll come." Then she seemed to look worried, "You guys will come too, right?" I was about to speak but then Emerson spoke for me, "Are you fucking kidding me? Of course we will! I can't imagine a better way to spend a week away from school than a trip to California. We love you so much, Delilah!" We all nodded in agreement, and she looked so adorable as she smiled in joy.

I walked up to Del and then she stepped off of the stage and closer to us. "Delilah, this is just amazing for you to do for us", I told her while smiling. "How in the world did you do this for us?" She took my hands and stated, "Michael sent me a check last week and told me to use it to have fun with my friends. It was hard for me to decide what to use it for, but this seemed like the best option to distract ourselves and have some real fun." I looked in awe at how amazing Del was and how much she cared for all to do something special like this. I hugged her tightly and started crying a little. "Thank you so much, Del. You truly are an amazing friend." She was silent for a second, but she hugged me tightly and I think she was shedding a few tears as well. When we let go, my guess was right when I saw her wiping her face under her eyes.

"So, what should we do?", I asked her. She took a deep breath before explaining, "Well, just pack your own essentials: clothes, toothbrush, hair-care products, et cetera. The hotel I booked has rooms for two to stay in so when we get there, I'll set up who stays with who. Most likely, someone will either have to have one room alone or one pair will have to take the extra in, but we'll figure it out when we get there. Lastly, there'll be some epic music acts performing at the beach there, so we'll have a good time too. The only rule I have when where there is that we don't mention anything about school or work, to keep our minds completely relaxed and care-free. And Carina, you might have to find someone to watch Fern for a week because the hotel has a strict 'no-pets-allowed' policy." That last part disappointed me but only slightly, but everything seemed easy to follow.

"Oh, Del. I'm a little nervous for this trip", Nina commented looking at the ground, "I never did anything this fun in my life, and I guess I'm just worried if I'll be fun or not." Emerson wrapped his arm around Nina's waist and kissed her head, "Don't worry, moon child. We'll all make it fun for you. I promise." Her face full of anxiety was instantly softened to a secure and happy face after hearing Em's consoling words. Then I realized something I should have, "Del, you said there's a beach nearby the hotel?", I asked. "Yeah, we're going to chill there and spend some time there. Why?" I already knew the reason why I wouldn't want to go to the beach and it isn't because I didn't know how to swim because I do know. But there was a small insecurity I still had that may prevent me from having fun there. Unfortunately, I chickened out and just responded with, "Nothing."

HEEYYY!!! I've been waiting so long to get to this special event in this story: Spring Break in California! Sounds like it'll be fun, but there'll be many interesting events to happen to almost each major character as relationships are tested and possibly pushed farther, new ones may spark, and it will be unforgettable for everyone going. I'm so fucking excited to finally write it out! Get ready because I might start "fucking with your head"! 😂 Anyway, Thank you again and I love you all!!! 💗💗💗
