Chapter 34*AWAKE*

I stayed with him the whole night praying and crying. I had to lie to Elijah in order for him to leave the hospital. Stephanie forced Jay to go home with him because he refused to sleep just like me. Tucker didn't come back to the hospital after Stella fainted and Diego was forced to take Damien and Charlotte home. Uncle Xavier, Benjamin's father had to go home because of his baby and fiancée. Carlos and Layla still haven't arrived at New York.

"Why don't you go home? It's two in the morning." The doctor said coming in the room. "If you stay here, it won't help Sofia."

"I'll leave when he is ready to go home with me." I replied and she left. "You see Benjamin. You should wake up soon before they drag me out of here. You know the doctor isn't nice because she said you won't wake up if you don't wake up today. Benjamin you promised you won't leave me." Tears started rolling down my cheeks. "I still love you more than anything. You know I would do anything for you Benjamin. So please wake up." I took his hand. "Don't forget your promise to me Benjamin. Even if you want to leave me, you can't leave your children. I won't look after them. I'll also leave them alone, I promise." I wasn't lying. There is no way I can look at Elijah's face if anything happens to Benjamin. "I promise Elijah you will wake up so please don't leave us now." I begged and put my head on his chest. "There is no way I'll ever leave you. I'll always be next to you. If you die, I'll die. Don't forget that." I add. "If you give up just know I'll also do the same. When we got married, it might've been a deal but my vows were all true. I'll never break my promise Benjamin even if you break yours."

My phone started ringing so I quickly got up and answered it.

"It's Damien. I'm coming back and this time, you going home. Not me." Damien said quickly and hang up. I wish Nick never brought my phone. Why can't Damien just stay away for an hour.

I turned to Benjamin and walked to him.

"You have such an annoying cousin, you know." I mumbled touching his head. "But he loves you a lot even though he always says he doesn't like you." I added and I saw his hand move. "Benjamin." I said taking his hand. "Benjamin." I repeated but there was no respond. I don't think I imagined him moving his hand. I put my head on his chest. "You making me go crazy." I complained. "The doctor said you might not wake up but I know you will. Remember when I was in a coma, I survived and remember when I gave birth to Emily, you said you fainted because you weren't feeling well not because you were scared. Benjamin you said you'll prove it when I get pregnant again." I kept talking on and on. I know the doctors said I can't help him but there's no way I can just leave him here.

"Who you?" I heard his voice and I jumped up.

"Benjamin, you awake." I said excited. "Do you want water? Or should I call the doctor?" I asked in a hurry.

"Who are you? And why the fuck I'm I in a boutique?" He questioned and I walked to him. I didn't decorate his room, his PA did it even though I was against it.

"I'm happy to see you awake." I mumbled and kissed him on the forehead. "Do you want water?"

"Women, who are yo--."

"Benjamin." Damien said interrupting him. "You awake, didn't she call the doctor for you." He asked looking at me angry.

"Who is she?" Benjamin asked trying to sit up. I know he knows who I am or else he would've never let me kiss him on the forehead.

"You can't sit. You injured." I said stopping him. "And I'm just your personal nurse. I'll call the doctor now." I quickly left the room in a hurry and went to go get the doctor.
