Elijah's POV.

A Week later

I got ready for school. I know we buried Tyler a day ago, but staying home won't help. I might've not been related to her but I did grow up with her. Her father is one of my father's close friends. Uncle Ian Rider, and her mother is a doctor. Everyone calls her Mafia Queen after all they are one of the most powerful families. Skyler who is Tyler's twin sister was trying her best to act like she wasn't hurting but it was obvious she was suffering the most. Kaiden, Tyler's older brother was only talking about taking revenge for his sister during the whole funeral. The death of Tyler was a woke up call for all of us.

I arrived at school thirty minutes before the bell for the first time in years. And honestly I was happy to be early this morning. Annette run to her friends and I accidentally pumped into a beautiful girl.

"Sorry, not feeling well today." I quickly apologized helping her up and she just smiled at me and left. "No thanks?" I questioned but she didn't bother turning around so I ran after her and I stood in front of her. She tried walking the other side but I blocked her way. "My name is Elijah Carson Valentines Black." I introduced myself and she didn't say a word. She was just smiling. "Sorry, I didn't know you were deaf." I bite my lip as I started trying my best to make her understand what I meant and she shook her head smiling. "So you are deaf." I added and told her she's beautiful. I sometimes wished I learned how to interact with deaf people.

She thanked me and I nod my head thinking of what else to say.

"It's difficult to think. I wish I watched how to talk with my hands instead of watching movies." I mumbled angry and she smiled at my shaking her head. "Wait a second, you can hear me?" I questioned and she nod her head. "So you not deaf but your mouth is deaf." She looked at me crazy and I hit my head. "I meant you are mute right?" She nod her head. "So who is your father beautiful?" She quickly made a THEO.

She questioned if Benjamin Carson Black is my father and I nod my head. She started doing something with her hands and I was lost.

"Are you telling me your father and my father loves each other? Or are you asking me?" I asked and she shook her head smiling. "Can we meet again tomorrow after I learn how to understand----." She interrupted me shaking her head angry as she took a pen and a page.

She started writing and I tried looking but she refused. As soon as she was done she gave me five kisses on the cheek and the page before running away.

"If she has a crush on me she didn't have to run after all I like her too." I rolled my eyes and started reading the page. "Elijah Carson Black, I never knew I would meet my little brother like this. I didn't know you flirter with every girl you see but I'm glad you are not as short tempered as father. By the way I have seen that girl with the red hair watching you. I hope you invite me to your wedding one day. Anyways enough about me talking about your love life. Your father, my father, Benjamin Carson Black is a good person and so is my uncle Theo that raised me as his own child. We are not friends so we can never meet again. I'm never going to forget my other family Elijah so please don't forget you have a bigger sister, Alison Carson Russo. I love you all so much Elijah and those kisses were not only for you. It was for father, mother, Emily and Oliver. And yes I am mute, I have always been mute since the day I lost Dad. Elijah please keep your sister Emily away from Luca, he is the heir of the Russo.
