The sun shines within mine and Selina's room once more. As usual, I was up before my wife as she was focusing more on the rest she could get out of everything else. I place a kiss to the side of her face before standing from my spot. Dressing myself up and heading down to the kitchen to have some coffee and toast. Ryan and Antonio are asleep upon the two couches that Rose owned, the kids were all sharing a room down here but none of them seemed to be awake right now. Rose also seemed to still be asleep. I check my pocket watch and notice it's about ten after six. I guess I was the first one up today. I choose to make myself some coffee before stepping outside and sipping it, leaning against the porch. In a sense, I would never get tired of this sunrise. It was there on days when I needed it most, and it was there the day Arthur passed as well. I knew that man saw the most utterly beautiful sunrise that day and in the end, I hoped it was all worth it for him. By what Dutch was telling me before we went after him and he ultimately killed himself, I guess we really should've seen it coming. Dutch was going insane, it was slow and steady but it happened and obviously in the end, he was his own death to himself, his own reason for it. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that Dutch is dead. It's like losing a loved one that drifted off and you barely talk to them but at one point in time, they were apart of you and your family.

I hear the door open now, I was expecting it to be my wife or one of my kids, but instead, it was my father-in-law. "Hey son." He mutters, his own cup of coffee within his hands. Him greeting me like that of course just had to remind me of Dutch, but this was all new coming from him. The grandfather of my children and the father of my wife. Guess I missed when my own father would greet me like that back when he was alive. "Hey, Antonio." I reply as I look over at the man as he stands beside me. "How's it going?" He asks before I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know, just woke up, same as you." He takes a sip of his beverage as he chuckles. "Right, right... So, I mean I haven't gotten to know you much since you got me out of that burning building."
"What is it you wanna know, sir?"
"Just about you, who you are. I can tell my daughter absolutely adores you. But in all reality, who are you?" He then asks as he looks over at me in a curious manner. "Well, I ain't much sir. I was born here in West Elizabeth. I was a bartender down at the Blackwater saloon for a little before all hell broke loose. I joined Dutch's gang and all and we ran all over the eastside of the states. Till we finally left. My parents been dead a long time. Shit happens... I don't have much to me other than that."
"Interesting story though, you seem to have a lot behind who you are now. Selina loves you so much. I can just tell by the way she looks at you like you put the entire universe and the stars and the moon and everything in the sky."
I can only smile as he speaks, for I knew more times than once that Selina loved me with every ounce of herself. "I love her just the same, sir. I don't think I can thank you and your former wife enough for creating such a beautiful soul. Your daughter saved me from myself so many times it's almost insane. She has taught me what love really is and she really has been nothing but my biggest support through everything. Even when she didn't wanna be. She's a spectacular woman, an amazing mother to our children. She's just an all around amazing. I'm so honored to have met her." Antonio looks me over with a smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he laughs a bit. "You really do love my daughter. It's beautiful. I'm thrilled that she found someone like you." He replies before he pats my shoulder as we both share a laugh before I look up and see a man on a horse. "Asher Sanders?" He asks as he's hopping off and going through a bag. I come down the steps, leaving my cup of coffee on the porch. "Yeah.. That's me, what's it to you?"

"A letter... Was told to deliver it to you at this address instead of your current home. Have a nice day, sir." The mailman gives me a tip of his hat before he gets back upon his horse. There was no return address, just my name upon it. I was a little suspect of it but I opened it anyway, making sure to save the envelope so I could put it back if needed.

I close the letter as my eyes direct up for the moment, focusing on the horizon. I was never expecting this. I didn't see it coming either, for I thought my job was done when it came to all this. But, apparently it wasn't. I was worried for John, now, for I figured they would also be going for him. I wouldn't even talk to Selina about this all, for she didn't need to know. I come back up the porch steps as Antonio is a bit confused as to what's going on. "Here. Don't tell no one. I need to meet with these men right now. Come to a decision. If--- If Selina asks, tell her I'm with John Marston." I mumble before I grasp my hat from where I left it in the kitchen. "Asher... Don't do this..." The older male demands before I shake my head to him. "This is for their safety, Antonio. Just... If it comes down to it, tell her when it's too late. That's all I can say."

I then walk back down and collect my horse. Getting myself going fairly quickly down to Blackwater, with a choice to make, which in my head... I already had made.
