"I really don't think I look good Mil." I sighed as I paced around my room.
"You're killing me smalls. Why do you think I fixed your hair like that. It looks totally normal in a bun." She groaned as she sat on my bed.
Let me explain what's going on. Today, Kyle and I are going to hang out with some kids at the UCLA Health and Training Center. The Lakers are holding a Christmas celebration for the kids and Kyle wanted me to tag along. Kyle is also taking me out to dinner afterward. We agreed that we were going to exchange Christmas gifts tonight since he'll be in San Francisco on Christmas Day. Right now, Mili and I are arguing over how my hair looks.
"Mil, I have lost so much hair in the last month. It's obvious how thin my hair is." I touched my hair while I looked in the mirror.
"Alivia, your hair looks fine I literally fixed it so it looks fuller." Mili groaned as she plopped back on my bed.
"Thank you for fixing it, but I really don't want to give people another thing to talk about when it comes to my diagnosis. People already whisper about how I have cancer." I groaned as I laid beside Mili.
"Well, they should mind their own damn business. Instead of whispering about how you're changing because of your diagnosis, they should be supporting you." Mili said making me smile. I have the best friend in the world.
"Thanks, Mil." I smiled and leaned over to hug her.
"You're welcome Ma." She said as she hugged me.
"Now go get ready. I picked out a bomb ass outfit for you." Mili told me as she pushed me off the bed.
As I got up, I felt Mili kick my butt. We laughed as I walked to my closet. I sighed as I stood in my large closet. I changed into the outfit that Mili had set out for me. I looked in my mirror as I slipped on my Gucci belt. I sighed as I played with my hair. Mili fixed my hair into a really simple messy bun that made my hair look thicker than it actually is. I walked out into my room with this outfit on.

"Well don't you look cute." Mili smiled as I laced up my boots.
"Couldn't have done it without my personal stylist and makeup artist." I shot her a cheesy smile.
"You look great Ma," Mili said as I grabbed my backpack and sprayed on my perfume.
"Thanks, gal." I sprayed on my perfume as I spoke.
"You excited for tonight?" Mili asked as I leaned on my dresser.
"I mean, yeah, it'll be nice to get a dinner that's not hospital or fast food and that's just him and I," I said as I played with my nail ring.
"I'm jealous of that ring." Mili noticed I was playing with it. I've been playing with it a lot recently. Something about it makes it comforting.
"I looked up how much it was on the Cartier website and I nearly killed him," I told her making her laugh.
