you finished changing into your skirt. then you slipped on your boots as you came out of your room. "oh- Y/N, where are you going all dressed up? going to a date with Mingrui?" Yuyan asked, with a smug smirk. you shook your head "amusement park with Hanyu." she sighed
"okay, I ship you more with Hanyu then Mingrui. hust break up with him! he already has a cheating rumor going around." she pouted "I know. I probably am going to." she stopped what she was doing and froze. her eyes widened "Y/N, I was just kidding-" you cut her off "no. I know you were. but I just-... if he doesn't say anything about this, then he obviously doesn't care nor does he want to defend our relationship. I'm tired of people using me." you said. she nodded "I get that. so we will fully respect your decision if you want to break up with him or stay with him." you smiled
"thank you. now I have to go. love you." you said and rushed out to find Hanyu at your doorstep
"hi." he smiled "hhhhiiiii~" you hugged him. he hugged back. he laughed "what's funny?" you asked "our clothes are matching." you looked. They were. "oh... that's crazy. we're like soulmates!" he stopped smiling
"Y/N, you're still dating-" you rolled your eyes
"soulmates don't always have to be lovers. they can be best friends, too. like... you know the show Meteor Garden? Huaze Lei was her crush, yes. but she turned out to love Daoming Si. of course, she still loved Huaze Lei. but as a friend. even though he didn't get to have her as a significant other, he was still her soulmate, and she was his too." you said. he started smiling again
"this is why you're my best friend. you're practically an intellectual." you giggled.

you two walked to the amusement park just talking and laughing with Hanyu. your legs eventually got tired so Hanyu gave you a piggy back ride there.
when you two reached there, he let you down
"sorry about that... I should've just walked..." you said. he shook his head "it's fine." you nodded
"where should we go first?" you asked. Hanyu thought for a second "hmm... let's get food!" he said "of course you'd want food." you rolled your eyes while smiling "hey!" he said. you put your hands up in surrender
"let's go~" he pulled your hands. somehow his fingers intertwined with yours. you didn't think much about it. you arrived at the cotton candy stand after pushing through a bunch of people, and it was crowded. it he didn't hold your hand, you would've gotten lost
"thanks for holding my hand. who knows where I would be if you didn't." you giggled. he looked at your hands and blushed. you guys heard a camera go off behind you. there were 3 girls who sheepishly smiled at you
"hi..." they said. you guys smiled "hi." you said "are you cheating on Mingrui?" one asked. "huh?" you said, your eyes widening. she pointed to your guys' hands. you two let go and looked away from each other
"yah. I wouldn't blame her. Mingrui is probably cheating on her too." the other said. you looked away from them. "what she means, Y/N, is that you deserve way more than someone like Mingrui who isn't even saying anything. you deserve someone like... Hanyu." one said "you look cute together. especially your matching clothes, bracelets, and phone cases." the girl smiled and pointed to all those things. "w-we're not-" before you could say anything, they walked away
you looked at Hanyu, and his cheeks were red. they looked like they were on fire. not much different from yours, though. you two looked away from each other. "what if that goes viral? what do we do? what do I say to Mingrui?" Hanyu asked "relax." you smiled at him
"if he won't say anything about a cheating rumor, then neither will I. he has no say in it. it's childish, yes. but it's karma." you said. Hanyu smirked "hmm... I always knew you were one for revenge, Y/N. fine. i'll be a part of you plan." he said "just because you're my best friend." he said.
"I know I am..." you cheekily smiled. and so then your day went on. you walked around all day with Hanyu, smiling the entire time. you knew fans were taking many pictures. but you didn't care. you were having a good time.
"last ride. it's already 10. you choose." he said. "feris wheel! it's so iconic! and we haven't went on it yet, so let's go!" you dragged him.
the line was surprisingly short. so you only had to wait for about 7 minutes. you two were talking and you saw fans taking pictures from left to right to up and down. but you two ignored it.
