"u-umm... w-what?" he asked. I smirked. a cart pulled up. I went 15 seconds back in time. it took longer than usual

"if y-you don't b-believe m-me, a c-cart is go-going to p-pull up i-in about... 5 s-seconds." I said. in 6 seconds, the cart pulled up. it hit the peanut butter. I smirked and went back 20 seconds

"if y-you d-don't b-believe me, a-a cart i-is going t-to pull u-up in a-about... 10 s-seconds. and t-they're going t-to knock d-down cereal b-boxes." that exactly happened. his jaw was opened wide "I-- you-" he blinked "o-oh m-my g-gosh..." he smiled

"you h-have p-powers." he said "OWW!" he yelled. he was on the floor. he was bleeding! his foot slid across the metal thing of the aisle "d-don't worry, I-I got t-this." I touched his hand and went back 10 seconds. "w-what happened? It d-doesn't hurt a-anymore..." he whispered. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the middle "went b-back 10 s-seconds." I shrugged

"o-oh... m-my... g-gosh..." he whispered. I pulled him over "oh... d-so that's w-what cut m-me.." he said. I looked over and it was a sharp piece of metal that broke off the cabinets. "b-be c-c-careful." I said. he nodded. "s-so w-why do y-you have a-a s-stutter problem?" I asked "w-what do you m-mean?" he nervously asked "r-remember what y-you said." I said

"f-fine. but y-you can't tell a-anyone." he said. I nodded "okay... 3 y-years ago..." tears started to well up in his eyes "I-I was k-kid-kid-kidn-" he tried saying. he breathed in and out and took a second "k-k-kidnapped..." he said. my eyes widened

"t-they t-tortured m-me.." he let out a soft sob. I hugged him. he kinda flinched and stiffened, but he got used to it "It's okay..." I said "y-your..." he said "I know. s-sometimes it g-goes a-away for a s-second." I said

"I-I found a g-girl there. L-Li Wei..." he said. my eyes widened "she was b-beautiful. Light, brown eyes, almost hazel, light brown, long hair. her skin was fairly white, she was so nice and kind... she always stood up for herself. even if she got beat." he chuckled

"l-look a-at that. i-it goes a-away for her." he sighed "somehow, s-she reminds m-me of y-you." he said. I looked at him "she.. w-well, let's j-just say s-she's in a-a better p-place now.." he said

"I-I'm so sorry, Zeyu." I said. he shook his head "It's okay." he said. he wiped his tears and smiled "n-now, let's f-find-" suddenly, the intercom if the store went off "ZEYU AND Y/N! PLEASE COME TO THE CASHIER! I'M SORRY I LEFT YOU GUYS! I CAN'T FIND YOU GUYS, HURRY UP!" Tzuyu's voice was heard. we bursted out laughing

"l-lets go." I smiled. he followed after me. we walked into the cashiers, Tzuyu sighing when looking at us. "you two! I was so worried!" she said "I will NEVER leave you guys alone."

"let's go pay."

"Y/N! food's ready!" I walked out of the room to see the only seat left was next to Zeyu.

"Mingrui, can you move next to Zeyu?" their mom asked "n-no. I w-want to s-sit next t-to Y-Y/N." Zeyu said "are you sure, honey?" he nodded, smiling

"h-hi." he said "h-hello." I smiled

Time Skip (sorry)

it was finally bed time, and I was in the living room with Shuyang

"Y/N... since you might be new to here... do you want me to stay in a room with you? I mean, I understand if you don't want me to..." he said

"i-it's okay. i k-kind of d-don't want t-to sleep a-alone anyways." i said "okay!" he smiled "i'll sleep on the couch

he plopped his pillow down, then laid down, then pulled the blanket over himself "goodnight!" he said "g-goodnight." i smiled
