over the weekend, you had done what you needed to do with Mingrui. you broke up with him. he wasn't happy with it,but he really couldn't say anything. he started avoiding you, though. it went public you guys broke up. fans, obviously, were sad. some blamed it on you for hanging out with Hanyu, and others blamed it on Mingrui for hanging out with a girl. but, most of the were ok with your decision.

"Y/N! let's go get ice cream!" Chaewon ran up to you, suddenly excited. you furrowed your eyebrows "why? and why are you so happy? you don't like ice cream that much..." you said "they're selling the limited edition cotton candy mixed with strawberry ice cream bar!" she squealed

your eyes widened "REALLY?!" you asked "YES!" she jumped up. you pouted "but we're not allowed out today." she waved her hand "no one will know. put on your cap and mask, were getting some ice cream." you smiled

you quickly changed into some skinny jeans and a cute white shirt. you loved the shirt, it was so cute.

you brushed your hair out, and put on a panda mask and a white cap. you walked out

"I'm done- Chaewon unnie, what are you wearing?" you asked. she had a skirt, a cute matching top, and a jean jacket. "we're not going to a fashion party!" You rolled your eyes

"what? it's cute, I'm wearing it. always be fashionable, my dear." she said while putting on a mask and cap "we're not trying to attract people, unnie."

"it's cute, I'm wearing it." she repeated. you rolled your eyes and walked out the door. you skipped happily to the nearest convenient store

you saw the ice cream right in the little freezer. you marched towards it. yqou basically leaped your hand into the freezer, although someone's hand also did the same thing.

you angrily looked at the person who tried to steal your ice cream, only to see it was one of your closest friends.

"Y/N! I haven't seen you so long! I thought you were ignoring me! I was worried! you hadn't been answering me, you haven't even read my messages! and you aren't in your practice room!" he hugged you tightly

"Hanyu... you're... squishing me.." you managed to say "oh- sorry." he shyly smiled "actually, I got my phone taken away since it was 'distracting' me. don't tell anyone, but we're actually getting ready for our comeback. so, we're using the private room." he smiled "I'm happy to know you don't hate me." he said

"I could never hate you, Hanyu." you smiled "so, how are you?" he asked "I'm great, actually. I've gotten better with my sleeping schedule. 4 hours a day." you smiled "finally! you only had 2. you looked like a zombie." you playfully hit him " i did not!"

"how about you? how are you?" you asked "uh... well, Mingrui's been ignoring me. he gives me silent, uncomfortable glares. but the other members are understanding of me. so it's not entirely bad, I guess." he said

you nodded. you heard 2 familiar voices. they were laughing. you grabbed 2 ice creams. "wait, where's--" you got cut off "here." Chaewon stood next to you

"wow. you 2 really won't stop talking, huh? I just wanted my ice cream." she rolled her eyes

you giggled and went to the counter. Chaewon and Hanyu walked behind you. he put his ice cream with yours and gave the cashier money. "my treat." he winked. you blushed and looked down

but, you had looked back to the familiar voices.

your heart had completely broken to pieces.

you were just frozen.
