I woke up next to a drooling Eleven and Max. They looked so peaceful. I would die for them both. I slowly got up, making sure not to wake them. I felt refreshed. I hadn't slept like that in four years.

I heard some groaning coming from the bed. Eleven must've woken. "Good morning." I said. "You're a light sleeper too, huh?" She nodded.

"Are you ready for today?" Eleven asked.

I nodded, thinking about Billy. "I think so," I replied.

"Are you sure? You've been trapped for four years, and only had a day of practice. We could wait longer if you need."

"Eleven," I smiled reassuringly. "I'm a big girl. I can handle it." She smiled back.

"I know."

I heard another groan. "Can you guys shut up?" Max said.

"Nope!" I said loudly. "You wanna know why? Because I'm saving your brother today and I'm just super stoked about it!"

She groaned louder. "Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I even want the asshole back." She said sarcastically.

"Awe come one Maxie!" I exclaimed jumping into the bed with her. I started tickling her and she squealed for me to stop.

We then heard a knock at the door. "Hey guys, are you up?" Mike whispered.

Eleven opened the door and we saw the boys outside.

"Let's do this." Mike said.

"That's cliche." I replied.

"Cliche?" Eleven asked.

"Never mind."

Karen made eggos for everyone and was very confused as to why there was a whole party in her house. She also questioned who I was and said I looked oddly familiar. She just assumed I was one of Nancy's friends that she's seen before.

After breakfast, we all gathered in the basement to run over the plan one last time before I made the jump. Then, I said my goodbyes to everyone while they tried to motivate me.

"Alright guys, I'll see you all in the past! Also since you won't remember this, Mike you're kind of a douche, no offense!" Everyone laughed.

"Be careful," Max said. "You're not invincible, and remember Eleven doesn't have her powers in that time. And Billy isn't the Billy you remember. He might try to kill or sacrifice you."

"Hey, I know. I know. Trust me. I will save him." I turned to Eleven. "And Hopper too."

Eleven turned on the TV so that it was static, and I tied a blindfold around my eyes. I started counting down while thinking of July 4th, 1985.

I felt the sun on my face and heard a loud honk. I removed the blindfold to find myself sitting in the middle of the street. I quickly ran to the sidewalk as a few people flipped me off. There was a news paper stand that I examined and it was exactly the right date.

I noticed the store that Joyce worked at and quickly entered. I grabbed all the necessities and realized I didn't have anything to pay with. I approached the man at the counter.

"Hello," I said with a friendly smile. "I am friends with Joyce Byers and she told me to pick these up for her but I don't have any money. She promises to pay you back."

"I'm sorry little lady," the man replied, "but you're going to have to pay for these."

I sighed. "Look its an emergency and I really need these for Joyce."
