"I don't understand!" Max said while we were all huddled into Mike's basement. "You're a time traveler?" Everyone's eyes were on me. Max, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, Hopper, Joyce, and Will. Billy was in a coma and was placed in the hospital.

"Yes!" I exclaimed. "For the hundredth time, I was stuck in this void, and Eleven from the future found me and told me to jump to a year in the future. That's when you guys from a separate timeline in the future came up with the plan to save Hopper and Billy."

"Woah woah wait. How did your physical body get stuck there? I thought that was just a mental state that El uses to spy." Dustin questioned.

"I... I don't know. I don't know much about my powers at all, really." I replied.

"I'm still not buying it." Hopper said again. This time, I was starting to get angry.

"I saved your life you ungrateful....!" I raised my voice causing Hopper to jump back.

"Woah woah woah! Guys let's just calm down." Mike said.

"I am calm!" Hopper and I said in unison followed by a glare at each other.

"I trust her." Steve shrugged.

"Me too," Max said. There was a brief moment of silence before Eleven spoke up.

"I do too." She said causing everyone to look at her.

"Eleven! She could be working for the bad men. Remember them?" Mike tried to tell her.

"The bad men did bad things to us." Eleven said.

"Good point. Why would Seven, er, Nicole side with the very people who kept her confined and forcing her to use her power to kill people? Not to mention punish her if she didn't obey." Dustin reasoned.

"No child should ever have to go threw that." Joyce said. "Hopper I... I think she's telling the truth." Hopper hesitated and sighed.

"Who else thinks she can be trusted?" He asked. Everyone except for Hopper and Mike awkwardly raised their hands, and Hopper scoffed. "Fine." He said.

The group questioned me a lot more before finally disbanding. I left with Max and we went to the hospital to visit Billy.

"Since we moved, he started acting insane. His rage was out of control and he was almost always drunk or high." Max told me in the elevator.

"Did he hurt you?" I asked.

"The most he did was grip my wrist really hard but nothing too extreme." She replied.

We arrived in Billy's hospital room. I saw him lying there unconscious. "Hey..." I whispered as I placed my hand on his cheek. I noticed the bruise that was left on his forehead from the bat. "Sorry about that." I smiled. "Billy... it's me. Nicole. I've missed you so you better wake up soon."

I backed up and let Max talk to him for a bit. "Hey Billy, it's Max. I know you've been angry a lot since we moved, and I know we haven't been on the best terms but I'm sorry. I'm sorry I haven't been understanding towards you, and I... I promise I'll make things better between us."

We left the hospital and headed to her house. "Why do you keep your hair so long?" Max randomly asked. It was about 4 feet, and had never been heat treated like most girls do.

"When I lived in the lab, Papa had my head shaved. I hated the feeling of not having hair, especially since I was always cold. So I never really cut it. It was only trimmed when I started getting split ends."
