Billy's point of view:

We won, but at what cost? If only I was the one who had the ability to travel back in time. It's funny how people always wish they could go back in time to change one thing, and yet they get over it with the mindset that everybody is going through the same thing and no one can get a second chance. But I know second chances exist. Why did I get to live? Right. It was because of you. All of this was because of you. Thanks to you, I got a second chance at life. Thanks to you, I learned how to love. Thanks to you, I am now a single father with a beautiful baby girl who has no mother to hold her.

"Daddy!" She ran into my arms while I stood outside her school.

"Eline! How was school, you little gremlin?"

"It was good! My class is doing a family project. It's where we talk about our mommy's and daddy's and brothers and sisters and aunties like Auntie El and Auntie Max but I told my teacher that I didn't have a mommy or brother or sister." My heart sank.

"Well," I sighed. "I think you should include Mommy in your family project anyway. You know why?"

"Why, daddy?" Eline asked me with her wide eyes, resembling her mother's.

"Why? Because your mother was the bravest person I've ever known. She was a superhero, you know."

"Really?" Eline gasped.

"Yeah! And guess what? She passed on her greatness to you too!"

"Woah! That's so cool! I'm a superhero?"

"That you are, my dear." I smiled.

Eline looked into my eyes. I could feel
My own eyes began to water at how much I missed those eyes on Nicole's face. "Daddy?"

"Yes, Eline?" I replied.

"Can you tell me about Mommy?"
