14. The Fox

Shit! Something went wrong with my father again. I hear different types of loud noises from downstairs, it sounds like glasses being broken. Ahhh he is at it again.

I call my imprints to tell them the situation, my father is having another one of his breakdowns. They worry about my safety and my heart clenches at the thought that I won't be with them today. But in these types of situations. It is better to handle it quickly and swiftly and sedate my father with his medication.

I look around the whole house, only to finally find the syringe and his medication, usually after I inject him with it, it knocks him out cold and he would sleep for two days only to have no memory of his breakdown when he wakes up, part of the side effects of the medication.

I make my way down the steps to where the loud objects are being smashed and thrown across the room. Woah! I quickly duck my head as he just threw a plate and it almost hit my head. All that can be heard is the sharp sound of the plate smashing into the wall.

"Father!" I yell trying to get his attention, he notices me and then a scowl forms on his face as if he had just tasted something very bitter.

"You are just a punk!" He yells. "You are just going to leave me like your mother did aren't you!?"

"Father!" I say lifting my hands in front of me to show I won't harm him, the syringe tucked in my pack pocket. "You have to calm down, we can talk about this."

"Talk about it?" He scoffs. "You dont think I know about your little imprints?" He spits.

What!? How the hell did he find out!?!

"You're an abomination!" He raws. "I saw all those wretched marks on your body a week ago!"

"What did you do!?" I say my calm resolve changing as I feel a dark cloud begin to loom over me.

"I told the authorities." He spits in a laugh. "You and those little freaks can go to hell where you belong!" He screams he throws another plate at me but he misses again. Anger fills my whole body and I charge at him and knock him to the floor and begin to punch his face in a fit of rage.
