-Shay's pov-

Latin. It's Latin. I finally figured it out. 

"Tobi come here," I shouted calling Tobi to my room. He was in the game room of course and once he cane walking in he climbed onto the bed where I sat with the grimoire and my laptop. I had been searching, studying, and trying to figure out what language the book was written in and finally after a few days I found it. Anyways Tobi sat down and looked at me with a big grin on his face I leaned up and gave him a small peck before saying, "I figured it out. The language this book is written in the grimoire is written in Latin which is a very old language that witches use and the writing on the cover is "liber apud magicae" which if I am correct it translates into "Book with magic." Tobi gave me a squeeze before replying, "Baby that's awesome are you going to translate the whole book?" He asked me while I shook my head and laughed at his assumption. "There is no way I am going to translate this whole book. I will leave that up to someone else although from the information I found only one family of witches has been known to read and write in Latin and that family name is Brooks. Which as I been digging into there is not many people from that family left." I explained. Tobi bit his bottom lip in concentration. "Well what are you going to do with it?" I sighed not knowing the answer to that question but went with my gut. "Im going to hold onto it that's for sure it might come in handy maybe, just maybe."

"Okay are you going to keep it a secret?" Tobi asked agin and I was quick to respond knowing what I truly had to do. "Yes so shh! Don't say a word promise me?"  We locked pinky's and promised not to say a word about the grimoire to anyone. Tobi chuckled and watched me as I closed my laptop placing it on to my desk. Before he got up and went back to his game he came to kiss me at the top of my head and left me in my room and when I look over at the grimoire laying on my bed I have a strange feeling it will come in useful later on. I picked it up and smiled walking over to my window seat opening it up and moving the blankets and pillows around and put the grimoire into the seat since it lefts up and placed it at the bottom of the seat before putting all the blankets and pillows back on top and closing the seat shut. "Well nobody should find that." I say out loud to myself.

The next week I spent relaxing just me and Tobi and we went hunting every day. I continued with my work outs dragging Tobi with me we even had fun playing hide and seek through out the town he was helping me practice my tracking gift which by the way is awesome I can now find Tobi in less then 2 minutes. On Friday, Denice text me to let me know when she would be home and that it would be just her as Carter can not be anywhere around humans or even other vampires or werewolves for that matter till he learns to control better, and his thirst. By Sunday I had made my decision, I was going to send Tobi home it was only fair since Denice would not have Carter with her. Besides it would be nice to have a birthday with just me and her and our parents. We haven't done that in long time. Sunday afternoon I was out in the back yard reading when Tobi came walking over with a glass of lemonade I decided to let him know my plan. "Tobi we have to talk," I looked up at him and he was looking at me a flicker of fear in his eyes. "Uh what's wrong Shay?" He asked nervously while I began to fiddle with my promise ring on my finger and then I finally spoke. "Well I um- have been thinking it's no fair for me to have you here with me on my birthday when Denice will be alone because well Carter cant come visit," I explained. Tobi sat down beside me and leaned over to kiss my forehead before pulling me towards him into a cuddling position. "Oh Shay your such a sweetheart you know that, your always putting others first and your heart is so big I love it. I love you but if you want I will go back to Karson. I mean school starts next week so I will see you there anyways I don't mind letting you have family time I spent the whole summer with you and I loved every moment of it but I don't mind going home if that's what you want." I smiled up at him, quickly giving him a kiss.  "Thank you for everything and thank you for understanding. So when are you going to leave and how?" Tobi scratched his chin and then spoke,
"We can ask your mom to fly me home tonight since Denice should be coming home tomorrow?" He questions. I nodded my head and spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling with him and than at supper we asked my mom. "Hey mom, can you fly Tobi home like in a hour or two please?" My mom looked shocked than turned to look at Tobi. "Well I guess I can but why Tobias? What's wrong, how come your leaving so soon?" She asked him. Tobi took a bite from his plate and quickly respond after chewing. "Shay wants me to leave so you can have family time once Denice arrives tomorrow," he replied.  She loved how understanding he was and agreed to take him home whenever we were done. "Well go on and pack your things then I will take you home in the helicopter. You're hometown isn't to far away actually should only be a 2 hour flight maybe a little bit more. Shay will you be joining us?" Mother asked me. I shook my head. "No not this time mum." Mom nodded and me and Tobi ran upstairs to pack his things and say goodbye.  Once that was done Tobi and mom got into the helicopter and I watched as they flew off disappearing from my view before I went in and got ready for bed I grabbed Denice present from my bag and placed it on her bed with a little note that said;

"Denice,
To the best twin there ever could be I love you like peanut butter loves jelly, like more then Carter loves you and Tobias loves me. Not sisters by blood but sisters by heart."

I went to sleep after that waking up the next morning and getting ready I put on a pair of jean shorts and a blue floral top with thin straps and I braided my hair into two braids. Once I was done I joined my parents for breakfast and then we headed off to the airport to pick up my twin.

We were waiting for her at the luggage area her plane was schedule to land at 1pm but before dad could say her plane landed I knew I could feel it. It's like this weird twin thing I can feel when she is near it's this strange feeling I get. Soon through the crowd of people I spotted my twin and ran towards her calling out her name. "Denice," I yelled out not caring who would hear. She looked ahead and called my name out as we went running towards each other. We hugged as I whispered, "I missed you sis it's been so long," which she smiles back and agrees along with me.
